This device works great! I often have to record things for my line of work and similar products in the same price range had emblazoned on the cover- audio recorder. I needed something that looks innocent and whose real purpose could not be detected, even if it accidentally fell out of my pocket during a session. From a technical standpoint, I'd say that it can record conversations from at least 20 feet away clearly. And it picks up everything! So if you are storing it in a pocket or purse, be aware that the simple rustling of fabric may make some of the speech hard to decipher.Another thing I found out the hard way on a similar device is that the recordings would be labeled 001, 002, 003, etc. for all the recordings made for the day. If you didn't immediately rename the files, then the first recording for the next day would save over the 001 from the previous day. Before I figured this out, I would have had a 001 recording that had pieces of several days worth of conversations. On this one, the recordings have their own unique number no matter the day. My only quibble is that I don't know how to get the recorded files to have the right time and date. I even tried formatting the disk to see if it would reset the time. There probably is an easy fix, but I haven't figured it out.

I was looking for a really good voice recorder and I am so happy with this one. In the beginning I didn't know how to use that Noise Reduction feature and from trial and error and experimenting, I am able to cut the unnecessary background noise and am able to hear my meeting notes from all so much better. I highly recommend this voice recorder if you're looking for a good one! Thank you!

The sound of this thing is crazy clear.. it charges fast.. and is it easy to use. Would definitely recommend.

Great little product

Unfortunately, it does not start recording immediately. There is a few second pause probably being the file being created. You also cannot adjust the date and time (or at least I have not figured out how to yet)

I use it for my meeting, lt great little shy pen, you can clearly hear people talking 30 feet away.

Good product, fast service. I just wish this was not a discontinued model.
