Ordered Aug 2016 today is Nov 3, 2017, so little over a year. About 6 mo ago I notice that one bulb was dimmer. One or two of the vertical strips of SMDs were out touched the bulb - it came back on for a day or so. The the other one started the same intermittent behavior. Then the bad segments in the first bulb would not work at all. Switched bulbs to other fixtures. Same issue.

These bulbs are not as bright as the 40W halogens they are supposed to replace and were very dim unless I left one halogen bulb in the chandelier. That brightened them up a bit but not to where they should be.

The color and brightness are fine, but after almost exactly 6 months bulbs are starting to overheat and cycle. Keep looking around for a better quality bulb.

Warning. I received two defective bulbs. Each only worked for about an hour before they blew. Think twice or thrice before putting this product in your cart.
