Product description Disc(s) only. Ships in generic case. Disc(s) are professoinally cleaned. Guaranteed functional or replacement. .com Wacky Races is a cross between South Park Rally and Mario 64, and stars classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters. While this kart racing game doesn't really bring anything new to the racing genre, it does bring hours of lighthearted fun. All the members of the motley crew from the cartoons are here, including Penelope Pitstop, Dick Dastardly, Muttley--even the Slag Brothers. They've all come with their trademark vehicles, from the Slag Brothers' rock-solid, relentless Boulder Mobile to Peter Perfect's turbocharged, streamlined Turbo Terrific. To add the always-present fighting element, the cars come with their own individual features to help you get around the numerous courses. A title ideal for keeping younger kids busy while not appearing totally alien to the rest of us, this game boils down to a kid-friendly version of South Park Rally. The colorful cartoon graphics give you the feeling that you're in the cartoon itself. --Mike Fehlauer

Start your engines and play Wacky Races, a wacky carrtoony good time!
When I was a kid, I would have gone nuts knowing I could play Saturday morning cartoons on a game. Well I am nuts and Wacky Races is a top notch "good time game" for any age child. My wife introduces me as her eldest child quite often, and when I play this game I know why, it definitely brings out the inner child in me. The Wacky Races was on of my favorite cartoons of my youth, and if it was yours ( even if it wasn't ) you will love this game. Wacky Races for the Sega Dreamcast was brought to us by the good folks at Warner Bros. Interactive and Hanna-Barbera, and ( dare I say ).....( I dare ) it's as fun as Mario Cart in my books. ( and I love Mario Cart ) You have eleven of the kookiest, silliest, and craziest racing crews to ever grace a game with, there's: Rufus Ruffcut and Saw Tooth in the Buzz-Wagon. There's The Slag Bros. and their Boulder-Mobile, also Lazy Luck and Blubber Bear in the Arkansas Chugga-Bug. Penelope Pitstop and her Compact Pussycat. You have the Ant Hill Mob and their Bullet Proof Bomb. ( My favorite ) There's Peter Perfect and his Turbo Terrific. The Gruesome Twosome and their Creepy Coupe. Sergeant Blast & Private Meekly and his Army Surplus Special, plus Red Max and his Crimson Haybailer. Professor Pat Pending and his Convert-A-Car. ( I like ) And last but not least, Dick Dastardly & Muttley in the Mean Machine. ( I love the dogs insipid laughing ) The graphics are beautifully hand drawn, and look just like the cartoons of our past. The colors are vivid and crisp, and the game is pure unadulterated FUN! Each car and crew have their own strengths, weaknesses, weight, speed, grip, and special weapons to cause mayhem with. There is also different difficulty settings to race in, there is Kart which is the easy mode, then you have the advanced style which takes more skill. You can also play cooperative, VS., or competitively with up to four people. I love the sound F/X and voice overs, it's done so well you truly think your having a flashback to your Saturday morning childhood days. The racing is tight and fast, and the game is just plain fun to play! Wacky Races is one of my top-ten Sega Dreamcast games ever, so give it a try and you'll see why. " Happy Cartoon Racing! "

One of the best DreamCast games ever IMHO
I always loved this game, it was fun and funny. Great multiplayer racer, based on the Saturday morning cartoon of my childhood. When it was "current" it sold for $5.00 retail, nobody liked it. (I think they just never tried it, and saw it as a "kids" game) I used to buy copies of this and give them to friends who then loved the game. I gave my copy to a visiting friend, with the intention of just buying another, and suddenly couldn't find one anymore. Years later, I still wanted to play this, so I turned to Amazon, found it here, and am never letting it go again!

Wacky Races
It is just as great as the show. Its similar to DiddyKong Racing(even though the Amazon review says its similar to SouthPark Rally which it's no where near.),just with a small hub world. This is the best Wacky Races game I have played. It is a bit difficult, but don't worry it has cheats to make it easier. If its to easy there is a cheat to make it harder. The AI is very well done, only the bosses are cheap. The other drivers are trigger happy, they will attack anything that gets near them(mostly other AI). Definitely worth the money.

My fav cars are #5 and #8!
Fun game, but can be a little tedious. You will quickly learn to hate car #6 if you're not racing as it. I wish you could have all 11 cars (instead of 8) in every race, so it can feel more like the cartoon.
