Paxcess was a game changer for my pool
Paxcess has been one of the best purchases I have made this year. We have a 35,000 gal in ground "L' shaped pool, walk in steps and surrounded by trees and filled with Michigan humidity. I open and close the pool myself and did not manually vacuumed one time from opening to close. "Jacque" would take close to 2 hours of laps in the morning. I love the cordless feature and the wall climbing and keeps algae under control by brushing the walls that allowed the chemicals to work better and saved us money in pool chemicals. We rarely had to backwash and rinse the sand in the filter which also saved money on the water bill. After having said all this - we did return our Paxcess twice due to battery charging issues and the Seller KK-Mall was wonderful. They stood behind the product, responded to my messages, sent replacement vacuums and provided me with great tips to get the full benefit from Jacque. We have never had a better summer with the appearance of our pool and highly recommend this KK-Mall and Paxcess.

Broke down in less than a year
While I was initially pleased with this robot, it broke down in less than a year, even though it was only used once a week to clean my 12 x 30 inground pool. It worked fine initially, but more and more it got caught up on the pool vents in the deep end of the pool, as well as on the beach step. It would go over the same areas and leave other areas of the pool untouched. It required constant redirection and really isn't worth the money.

Good, bad, and ugly
We have a roughly 10'x40' fiberglass pool, 3' to 6' sloping depth. Have owned this robot for 3 weeks and I've run it about a dozen times. Purchased June of 2021.Pros: (1) very easy to empty and clean, far easier than similar products I've tried. The basket works really well. (2) Seems to have no issues with even fairly large leaves from a nearby magnolia tree. (3) i threw this in right after opening the pool and it did a decent job of cleaning off the winter grunge and scum from the bottom and sides of pool. Did not need to use the regular pool vacuum which was a nice surprise. (4) it's nice not having to worry about cords while it's running, caveats below.Cons: (1) really needs to have a toggle switch for a "bottom only" mode. We have an oddly shaped pool and this thing wastes at least half its charge trying to climb the walls. Sometimes I need the walls cleaned, but usually just the bottom. I'd like to have that option. Right now I charge it, run it, then charge and run it again to get the whole bottom clean. Would be nice to do it in one charge (2) I usually leave it covered when not in use, as the instructions are clear that water can damage the charger. Left it out one time and it got rained on, charger no longer works. It's a non standard charger and I can't figure out where to get a replacement. Just emailed their support for help. We'll see. If I can't get a replacement quickly I'll just return it (3) Not a huge deal but the plug that protects the charging connection on the robot when the robot is in use is very difficult to pull out when it's time to charge. While trying to pull it off one of the first times i yanked it real hard and it finally came loose but broke the little string that kept the plug attached to the robot. I now use a pair of needle nose pliers to get it loose.Overall it's ok. I caught it on sale. Would not be as happy if I had paid full price for it. in fairness this is the third robotic cleaner I've tried and none of them have been great.

Didn’t pick up algae.
I bought it to get the algae. It didn’t. The charge didn’t last long enough to clean the whole pool. However… it was nice to drop it in and let it go , it definitely picks up dirt and leaves ect . Just not worth that much money . I sent it back.

Impressed
Product has been good. I have a 25k gallon pool with a deep end 8ft. 18' x 36' overall dimensions. There is never a substitute for hand cleaning, however this thing does collect quite a bit of debris. It will climb walls and has never tipped upside down. I would recommend that you run this thing at least once a day. Super easy to use. One downfall I have noticed is that it doesnt seem to have any type of pattern that it has learned. Another issue I have had is, It will get caught on my bottom drain covers. Battery life seems to be good, as I have always ran the thing until it wont go any more, and fully charged it before using again. The filter is simple to clean. I saw another post about retrieving the device if it goes dead being difficult, but the unit comes with a retrieval hook that attaches to a pool stick which is pretty easy to use. The robot is a little heavy when bringing it out of water, but when drained its not bad. Overall not messing with a hose or an electrical cord, I am satisfied. Also, I have not used the remote function.
