I got this to replace one that was damaged after it was left on a hot stove. So needless to say I knew what I was getting (the one this replaced was from a grandmother's collection). We use this for chex mix and popcorn and other snack foods. It does exactly what you buy Tupperware to do - store your foods and keep them fresh. As a bonus - since this one is several decades newer it IS easier to wash. I do fully expect this last just as long as the old one (maybe longer as now my kids know it will melt if they're not careful).

Its very large and very nice. When cooking alot I use this bowl to mix things or marinate over night. I love tupperware.

Use it all the time...

I am delighted with this bowl. The bowl is sturdy, and the lid fits tightly. I liked it enough to buy a second one.
