This product leaves a lot to be desired. While I appreciate this Chinese manufacturer bringing such a cost effective IPcam to market, the bundled buggy software and lack of web interface makes this camera a chore to configure and use.The camera itself seems well-built for the price. Pan and tilt functions work as expected, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet they are. Video quality is on par with what I would expect. Not terrible. I was also surprised by how well the camera auto-detects when a room is dark and switches to infrared mode. The two-way audio is a little clunky. It works, but it's WAY too easy to get a feedback loop started, and it makes the functionality kind of pointless.The software is crap. Plain and simple. I have only tested the iOS app, but it's very rough around the edges. I can overlook all of the typographical errors and occasional Chinese characters if the software works well...but it doesn't. Setup was a bit of a chore, and can only be done over a 2.4GHz wireless network. If you're like me, you have a dual band router and primarily use the 5GHz band. Once setup is complete, you can switch back to your 5GHz network.Panning and tilting is annoying because there is no way to do a full sweep by holding the pan/tilt buttons. You have to keep pressing and pressing the arrow to get it to move over in increments. I hope that makes sense. Sweeping the camera from one side of the room to the other requires pressing the arrow about 25 times.In the settings menu, I get a LOT of spinning "loading icons" while I wait for settings to load. They never do load...I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to configure certain settings. In fact, as I type this review, I'm trying to load all the different settings pages and it appears that an overwhelming majority of them simply do not work. If you purchase this camera and plan to use the iOS app, don't expect to use anything except default settings. Based on my experience, you will not be able to set up recording, motion detection, change the video format, setup notifications, or anything, really. I can just view the video stream. What a disappointment.Also, if you have a Mac or Linux PC, don't expect to use the software. Desktop software is Windows only. That would be fine, except there is NO web interface built into the camera. Most IPcams seem to have some basic web functionality built in so you can just type the camera's IP address into a web browser and a basic interface is there for you to use. This camera does not appear to have any such interface, and if it does exist, it is not documented. Again, what a disappointment as a non-Windows user.I would not recommend purchasing this camera and will be returning mine for something with better software and a web interface. Please learn from my mistake and understand that you get what you pay for.

I'm very impressed with this camera. Like all the features, and set up is a snap. I would give it 5 star except when I needed more directions I contacted seller and they kept giving me instructions in another language besides English. I had to contact them 3 times to finally get what I was asking for, other than that this camera is a must have.

We got this to monitor our chicken coop thinking if it didn’t work well we wouldn’t be out much. What a pleasant surprise to find out it was easy to set up and sync with our phones, and has great picture and sound. Recommend for anyone!

This camera works great with the iOS app for viewing when I'm away from home. Set up was easy if you read the quick start guide but it WILL NOT RECORD TO THE MEMORY CARD. Also the push notifications only work if you HAVE VIDEO STREAMING to your phone and being processed by the phone for movement it does not process movement on its own. It will work if you have it running in the background though. If you are just looking for a way to take a peek at pets while you're away it's works great for the price.I tried contacting support through the "iztouch" website and through emails and never got any response what so ever. I primarily got this to check on pets and was going to use it to RECORD my front yard to see which neighbor was letting their dog do business there but since it WILL NOT RECORD TO THE MEMORY CARD and the manufacturer WILL NOT RESPOND I can't really recommend it... the PUSH NOTIFICATIONS only work if you have the app running in the background on your phone at all times so it can stream video to your phone to process for movement so don't expect your phone battery to last long with HD video streaming to it and being processed in the background. I tried purchasing brand new micro SD cards (they call them TF cards) for it, formatting a new one in camera through the app and tried with a seperate card on my computer before putting it in camera, when that didn't work I tried reformatting the one from the computer format in the camera again and still no luck. Tried formatting the card that was originally formatted in camera in computer and then bringing it back to camera, when that failed formatting in camera again which failed. I tried different size MEMORY cards (8 gig & 32 gig) with all these combinations of formatting as well still not able to get the camera to RECORD TO THE CARD.You get what you pay for, so don't expect support or warranty help, roll the dice and maybe you'll be pleased with it since it's so inexpensive but had I known I probably wouldn't have...

I just bought this camera (at full price,nobody has given me anything to write this review) and It's everything I needed. I had it on the air in about 5 minutes and I am really a rookie with this stuff. If I needed more cameras I would certainly buy the iZtouch products. A week ago I bought the outside camera (IZSP-015) and I 'm very satisfied with that one too (see my review)..

This thing is no good. The app wouldn't connect to the camera. Camera wouldn't connect to wifi. I thought it was me, but others tried too. Nope! And, the directions are pointless!

Does not work with android phone. Complete garbage. Crashes anytime I try to do anything on the android app. It worked OK with my iphone, but if it says it works with both then it should work with both.
