For small headers 1" is the way to go.
The copper used in this material can become airborne and it's advisable to where a respirator. It definitely works as advertised and helps trap the Heat I'm able to almost touch the headers while running that's how well it works.

Exhaust Wrap
It may do just fine for your headers....I don't know. I used this as a steering wheel wrap for my Rat Rod...I will say though that the copper impregnated into the material is 'messy', initially. It goes everywhere and is very very fine.A purely temporary condition.If you're actually wrapping headers....buy LOTS of this stuff. It goes quick! I used 45' doing a steering wheel!

Looks great 2 rolls of the 1in x 50ft wrapped my 4 into 1 perfectly with about 2ft to spare.

More False Advertising
It's not an inch wide. It's 7/8ths of an inch. The difference means that at the recommended overlap you cannot properly wrap even one set of pipes.

This is the best wrap ever. More durable and will take more heat than any wrap ever made, bar none. Used with copper coating and thermotec's snap-strap. Great products for hard-core racers.
