Plant It! Grow It, Eat It

It’s big, with lots of images. My kids love it! I bought it because they were learning about plants in school.

I wasn't sure what to expect but this big board book is really well done. It's about a group of kids who learn about plants and what they can grow where they live, whether they have a backyard, a balcony or a rooftop. In the end, they each bring their veggies, herbs, etc to the community garden and share a meal. There's lots of info about growing, pollinating, watering, etc and I liked the message that ANYONE CAN GROW THINGS and enjoy nature. Plus the illustrations are bright and colorful.

Bought this book for the 4 year old grandson to teach him all about gardening and sharing that with friends. Excellent Illustrations and realistic as well! My grandson spent lots of time within those pages! I’m a very please Nanna!

This book is larger than I expected, and thought it would be more toddler friendly. I still like it but, this book is definitely for older children.

Loved this hard oversized board book! Great for reading outloud to small groups, everyone can see the illustrations.
