The 7L works great on or off. Its a great size, quality made, eye catching alternative to the English and French high dollar choices. First, I own the big brother of this to use off bike instead of a small over niter bag. Have a love / hate thing with inner flap second zipper cover. Love it when nothing falls out, love it when I want to secure items by zipping up, second layer of flattish stuff, and then strap leftover onto top. Hate it when I think of the weight it adds. I don't notice it, feels OK, just the thought.Has all the touches of the more expensive ones, catches a lot of comments.

When I received my bag it was a lot smaller then the picture. Idk of these guys make bags I. Diffrrrnt sizes but it was different smaller the. I am imagined. Great looking bag though. I’ll keep it forever . But just shocked me

I received this item of 8-22-18... After about 2 weeks I decided not to return the bag even though I didn't think it was what I really wanted... bad move, because now after 3 weeks of use as a saddle bag it is tearing right at a seam.

Outstanding bag for the price! Its tailor made to fit a Brooks saddle, and has a very cool retro look.So far I love it.

I’ve used a lot of saddlebags on my bike before from companies like Rivendell, Carradice, and Banjo Brothers, but Zimbale bags are my favorite for their value and construction. I used an 18Liter bag for 3-4 years and on numerous bike tours before finally retiring it in favor of a smaller bike bag. Zimbale, it seems, has completely updated all of their products and improved on almost all of them since the last time I purchased one of their bags . Things I like about this new bag:1. You don’t need to fiddle with a bunch of buckles if you don’t want to in order to get your stuff out. The leather strap that holds the bag closed has an eyelet that makes opening and closing the bag very quick but secure.2. There’s now a zipper behind the main flap that you can zip up to make absolutely sure nothing falls out of the bag. Rivendell and Carradice don’t have this feature and depend on the main strap to do all the work of keeping things inside the central compartment. You don’t need to zip up the main bag if3. The opening of the bag is more angled up on this version.4. Bag is now more waterproof thanks to the zippered main compartment covered by the main flap. I would have no fear keeping electronics in this bag and going for a ride in the rain.5. 7 liter bag doesn’t need a rack. So long as you have decent clearance between your saddle and rear tire this bike bag should securely hang onto the saddle loops without any additional support.

Great looking bag, and really well made. Perfect fit with my Brooks saddle.
