I was experiencing horrendous, chronic lower back pain and I suspected sitting on my old, saggy couch was at least partially to blame. My mom recommended this product since it had helped her and I am pleased to say it has noticeably helped me as well . It's a lot cheaper than a new couch and I can use it on any soft cushioned seat. The only downsides are it can feel super cold and it is rigid (which is the point, but a little uncomfortable) so I like lining it with a thin blanket for comfort. Fantastic product, just takes a litt!e getting used to.

By looking at the Original RelaxoBak Orthopedic Seat, you stop and wonder."Will this really work" The looks of it reminds me of a plastic tub lid, or maybe a warped extra large Frisbee. But I have to say, it really worked for me. For weeks my sciatic back was burning my butt, legs and feet. What most likely caused this was a bad chair. I had been sitting on a cheap office task chair literally for 8 hours a day, and then my back started to hurt. I decided to buy a real task chair but it was too late. By then that's when my burning started to occur. So I did research and came across the RelaxoBak. I was desperate and what could I lose, it was like $20 or so. When I received it, I wasn't too sure if this plastic thing was going to work, it looked very uncomfortable, but after sitting in it and getting adjusted to it, I realized that I had forgotten about what I was sitting on, and better yet, I wasn't having any burning issues. My back got better and now I can work without the pain.Thanks to whoever sold this to me.

Needed tailbone and lower back relief especially in the car and at work.This works great for long drives or long, seated video editing sessions and have been using it for 5 years. Still holds shape and not worn.I also have the backjoy as an “upgrade” which is more comfy to sit on in general and provides the same pelvis alignment as this, but because there is no tailbone groove on the backjoy, my tailbone hurts immediately and there’s no position that provides me relief like the relaxobak.Super portable, easy to clean.This works great but a few caveats:- plastic material design leaves you sweaty where you body touches it-no comfort padding but it’s pliable enough to adjust to whatever shaped surface-one size … if you’re wider than this seat, it won’t workI returned the back joy because of my tailbone issues, and back to the relaxobak .

These other reviewers must work for the company that makes this product because this product only exacerbates my rounded spine/sciatica problem rather than helping me sit up straight. I should have used my logic by looking at the picture than falling pray to these impossible to believe reviews. It also said Super Saver shipping and yet, I was charged $6.24 for shipping on this $19.95 product. When I called to make the return they said I had to pay for the return ($12) and I should just send it to them, "you don't have to call us in advance about the return" and "no, I don't have the address you'll have to get it off the package or the web site". The lady that answered was nasty. Adding insult to injury, a week later it came back to me in the mail with a note saying "this item was stamped damaged, sorry for the delay" What??? This was a return, nothing is damaged, I just want my money back. So now it has cost me $38 and I still the item. Just a way to make money from people who will spend practically anything for help. Don't fall for it.

This product doesn’t give a good supportIs too soft, to much flexi and body moves around that’s making spinal pain

I have a bruised tailbone and tried 6 different cushions, every shape and size, without any pain relief. I bought this in desperation that nothing else was working and it's the only thing that helps, the second I sat on it, I felt immediate relief. The problem with cushions is that you have to line up your tailbone right into the "hole" and it's impossible if you move around or use it in a car. With this, the cup shape prevents your butt cheeks from spreading apart and that way they serve as a cushion for your tailbone. The key is to sit right on top of it, so your butt cheeks are cupped and not let it slide behind you. I also bought another padded version for my car and it also works great.

helps posture when sitting in a chair. Molded plastic does not breathe--butt gets sweaty unless I use a towel over the orthopedic device.

After almost a year, I can certify this amazing product. I use in my car and my back issues specially for long distance driving trips are gone. It is great for flights!Update: I have been using this seat for the past at least 5 years. Great for SI joint issues and I can drive and be seated in the air place for long hours and able to walk after with no disconfort.
