Straps are good quality, and the rings feel solid in my hand. They aren't slippery like plastic rings, and man are these tough on workouts. I didn't realize how many weak points I had! That said, these aren't completely smooth, I took some fine grit sandpaper to smooth these out some. All in all a great value for the money, just needed a little love.

Great bodyweight strength tool - wood is best!
These are robust and well made. Having tried both wood and plastic, I can assure you that plastic rings are a poor idea. The texture and feel, they get slippery and don't feel as rigid. I'm a body weight calisthenics enthusiast, working mostly with bars (pull-ups/dips etc). The rings literally add another dimension. there is effort just to keep stability and keep them from shaking. Almost like the difference between free weights and a machine. I'm a long way from the fabled iron cross, but there are a multitude of good exercises to do, especially with the quick adjust meant of height.

Good product but while using it outside chemicals in the strap attracted a bunch of bees, making outdoor workouts a problem.

I'm smart. And slightly OCD
Recently embarked on a body weight/ gymnastic focused training regimen and did lots of research on rings. I'm smart. And slightly OCD. And will deliberate for hours and hours on such decisions. Finally came across these and pulled the trigger. After a few sessions with them my conclusion is: these are the rings you want. (Just don't forget to buy some chalk.)
