Looks can be deceiving
The black finish is more dark grey, looks good from a distance. Works as a plate and fulfills is base purpose.

Broken plates came in order as they couldn't take the 2 plates back waste of money so cheap quality

Not microwave safe
Melamine is not microwave safe. It absorbs microwave radiation and gets hot. I checked by placing this plate and another cup of water and the plate got hot whereas microwave safe material should not have gotten hot.

It’s black coloured plastic plate . Do not get confused for ceramic. It’s not.Not worth the money. Wouldn’t recommend this product.
