Rhythm Clocks "Remington II" Wooden Musical Mantel Clock

Beautiful clock. I have the original Versailles model but love the fact that this one has the 4/4 Westminster chimes. They are rich and beautiful. Very accurate.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this clock for my husband birthday. He is a true lover of clocks and owns many. This was such a hit with him. The only thing that could have made it better is if it were key wound. The chime sounds and selections are spectacular. It really couldn’t sound better. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and buy it again.

Very happy with this clock. Keeps good time, we have it set to chime on the hour. Very relaxing to hear it chime.

The clock is excellent for what it is ... the three star review is for the price. This clock simply does not warrant the $314 price (a 10 minute search revealed many vendors, including the manufacturer, selling it for the same price).The clock is very, very light; the face obviously is a print; the mechanism is a larger version of the typical, inexpensive battery operated mechanism (with the digital chip containing all the melodies, plus a volume control, etc.); the plastic over the face is, well, plastic-looking. The chimes sound excellent as described by others. However, it's easy to hear the digital recording cut off too quickly in between the phrases of the Westminster tones, so it sounds like a recording (I hear these sorts of things, so this may not bother others).All that said, it's very attractive, the size is just right, the digital chimes sound surprisingly good (except as above). I would have given it five stars had it cost, maybe, $90. I'll even go to $125. It seems to me that the manufacturer would still make nice profits at that price. At $300, well ... they are doing just fine.

In 2010 I bought similar to this clock and lasted 10 years. I regret I placed the clock in a room where the sun rise and set toward my room and the room become hot This is a latest version of my old clock. I wish the company adds more x-mas music. Thank you.

The clock looks like it was suppose to, it is made of wood and not plastic and it has beautiful chimes. The feature it has that we like best is that you can control the volume of the chimes from barely audible to very loud (hear all of the house loud). We have it on our fireplace mantel and it adds to the warmth of the room as well as chimes without disturbing our conversation. My husband loves it too.
