Disturbing "popping" noises
I have a Ford Transit Connect. It has grooves in the roof, which made it difficult to install the rear wheel suction cups. The cup diameter (6") exceeded the width of the raised roof area. The whole surface area of the cups are subject to suction, so I got them on there, but it took a lot of effort. If the rear wheel cups had a smaller diameter it would have fit my Transit better. Unfortunately, once installed, loaded, and on the road, we heard unnerving "popping" noises from the roof. It sounded exactly like you would imagine suction cups releasing would sound, only it wasn't, because every time we stopped and looked, the cups were secure. Maybe it was the sound of the roof buckling? I don't know, but it made us too nervous to continue. We love our bikes. We also didn't want to kill someone if the bikes were to fly off the car. The noises were really ominous. So, in the end, we spent an hour installing it, 10 minutes driving with it, and then 12 hours with two kids, two cats, and two bikes shoved inside our vehicle. Not fun.

Buyer Beware -- Ordered Twice, Defective Both Times... Poor Quality Control...
I bought this product twice. The first time, one of the four suction cups was non-functional. Okay that sucks, I returned it and bought a new one. The second time, the exact same thing happened. One of the four suction cups was non-functional. I drove around with it for ~100 miles and it worked okay, but if I am paying almost $200 for a suction cup bike rack, everything should work flawlessly. Setting up was a pain and took almost ~20 minutes because of the suction cups that did work, usually 1 or 2 would be iffy and need a lot of effort to suck into place. I went through the set-up and drive process 10+ times and know for a fact I did everything correctly. The units were simply defective.Buy at your own caution. Clearly the quality control isn't very high and you risk having your bike fall off and hitting whoever is behind you. I learned my lesson. Either spend on a quality suction cup mount (expensive) or get a trunk-mounted/hitch one. The risk of these cheaper suction cup ones with poor quality control is scary.I returned twice. Don't be like me.

Seems like a good mount and suctions really well! I just didn’t get the adapters I need for my bike with a through axle. Could you guys please send me the adapters that come with the rack and I will change my review. Thanks in advance!

4 months of use suction cup now rotting/breaking down
The edge around one of the suction cups is rotted off or breaking down. It still works at this time but probably not in a few more months....Update: one suction cup has lost it's pumping suction potential and the thing is basically useless now.
