JSD Intercooler Compatible with Ford 6.0L Aluminum Intercooler fits 2003-2007 Excursion F250 F350 F450 F550 3C3Z6K775AA

This intercooler fixed my issues and is a huge upgrade to stock ford part. However I was very concerned it could have been damaged by the poor packaging. This intercooler is a excellent replacement so ( 5 stars ) from me they just need better packaging.

Looks and felt like a good unit. However, the day I was driving up to put it in, an idiot pulled in front of me so now I need a lot more than just an intercooler. So far, the return has been really easy.

It arrived very quickly. After unboxing I was somewhat impressed with the overall quality. The welds seemed to done by someone who knows what they're doing. I didn't get a chance to look inside with my borescope so I can't speak to the condition of the heat exchanger tubes, i.e. pinched, jagged, or some combination. The cold air side was slightly misaligned which put the cold air tube to close to the radiator to install the boot. After pushing the cooler to the drivers side and wedging it in place until I could tighten the bolts I was able to slide the boot on. It seems to work just fine and I'm driving in 90-degree heat with no leaks. I'd have given it 5 stars if I didn't have to monkey with the discharge side.

Construction seems sturdy.Flanges for intercooler boots .25” too large. Have to extreme stretch the boots over. Not risking a boot failure on the road because the intercooler was made improperly.

First off. After sitting on the side of the highway pulling a 30ft car hauler and a split factory intercooler and repairing with hose clamps. I ordered this on the road. I was impressed with the construction of it. Cast aluminum tanks. All welded joints. Considerably heavier than the factory. The only issue I had was the tab that it sets on. A little off. But I give it a 99 out of 100

Fits in great and the construction is robust. My original leaked everywhere so I am looking forward to better fuel mileage and power!

Installed in about 20 Min, Must use a tad of liquid soap to get Hoses on. Test pulled our 42FT 5th wheel camper and all is well at this time. Craftsmanship seems to be good.

I replaced stock with this as a preventative measure. Full aluminum vs plastic and aluminum. The fit was perfect. Had trouble fitting boots (mishimoto) over inlet and outlet had to stretch the hell out of them. May be placebo but notice a tad better throttle response and and EGTs seem to be down 25-50 degrees. New one seems 0.25" thicker and well built/cast. By the way the seller is awesome! 1st part came damaged and they shipped a 2nd no questions asked!!
