Finally a clogged drain solution!!
I had a bathroom sink drain that had slowed down to the point of it took 10 minutes for water to drain out of the sink. I had tried everything!! I saw this and ordered it. The first 2 applications I did as instructions...no success. I read another reviewer who did more than the recommended directions and they used boiling water. So I poured approximately 1/4-1/2 cup and followed with a pot of boiling water. Drain boiled up and you could hear the noise in the drain. I waited 15 minutes and followed with another pot of boiling water. Success!! I then followed with 3 minutes of faucet running cold water. Absolutely unclogged!!!I would highly recommend....well worth the money. I have no idea what clogged the drain up but it's clear. Just do boiling water if you want success. Well worth the price and now I will do monthly maintenance

Does It Work? Maybe.
The first application of the recommended dosage (3 heaping tablespoon of granules + 2 cups of hot water) did not solve the slow drainage issue that I was having. I poured another dosage of 3 heaping tablespoon of granules + 2 cups of hot water down the drain. The slow drainage still persisted. At this point, the instruction on the bottle says I should call a plumber. But I decided to apply the product for the third time at the the recommended dosage and emptied the bottle. The sink kept its slow pace of draining the water. I was ready to throw the other 2 bottles that came in the package into the garbage, but instead, I decided to try one more time and poured one full bottle of the granules down the drain, followed by a large pot of boiling water. Seconds later, the sink made a funny sound and the drainage returned to normal. So does the product work? Maybe. Maybe the recommended dosage is too low, and you do need to use 2 full bottles. And maybe you do need to use boiling water even though the instruction specifically says not to do so. I think Drano needs to reevaluate the recommended dosage.Despite the uncertain effectiveness of the product, I may buy it again the next time my sink decides to go slow. It is the first product I have tried that actually resolved the issue. Also, the dry, granular form makes this product easier to handle and store as it minimizes the risk of dangerous spillage that often happens with the liquid form of clog remover.

Always use Drano crystals
Really not much more to say except for Drano crystals are the best! I have used them for years. I have always had great success with the crystals over any kind of liquid that I just waste my money on. I had four girls with very long hair and, the Drano crystals Have always been a lifesaver

Allows Water to Run More Smoothly from my Kitchen Sink
I do not have a garbage disposer so I then, unfortunately, have crumbs and so forth that make it through my sink drain and it slows down the water drainage substantially. This product works better than any I've tried. I use it about once a month and that eliminates the chance of a clogged drain. It works above my expectations. It seems safe when directions are followed. Product is as advertised. I recommend it.

Dusty, caustic dangerous, unhealthy granules...
To begin with, there are Warning notations on the product, as it is a very dangerous chemical to expose to any part of a living creature, or many materials. The material is categorized as the opposite of a strong acid, on the pH scale for chemicals. The directions to the "T". Two rounds, as directed. However, they should be listed not to breathe in any of the dust that accompanies the granules, as it goes up the nose, in the eyes and all over the places. If the granules were intact as solid granules, without dust, there should not be the same effect that was experienced. Sinuses and eyes burning, even with precautions taken. I would highly recommend the use of a good quality breathing mask, along with sealed goggles. The dust can still land on one's skin and react with moisture there. In other words, BE CAREFUL in the use of this product, or any dangerous chemicals. My kitchen drain is still sitting stagnant, as it didn't work. Both sides of the double sink has blocks to keep heavy material from going down and the users are fully aware of using a screen over the openings to avoid a clogged drain. Now, the dangerous, caustic chemical will have to be drained by removing the trap, with increasing danger, as the chemical can splash or spill onto surfaces or on the repair person. I would not buy or use ever again, personally. Am happy for those it worked for. Good for them.
