Helped a ton! We bought a mini van about 6/7 months ago and I have both my toddlers in the very back with a newborn in one of the bucket seats. I did not want to climb back there every time to help them (mind you, I was also pregnant with said newborn when I bought these). We have graco car seats and for some reason the red button is hard for even me to press at times. This was a game changer for my 4 year old! He figured out the leverage pretty quickly to unbuckle himself and eventually, he was also able help his younger brother out of his as well. It was just a little harder for him to get the buckle off his brother’s consistently but it still made my life a lot easier being able to reach back and squeeze it. At this point, my now 3 year old can also use this to unbuckle himself. You do have to make sure the piece is lined up right so it’s actually hitting the button but otherwise it’s great. I haven’t tried the other style but I just picture this being way easier than kids maxing out their grip strength trying to squeeze the other version. My boys feel so independent, it’s cute. I also love that it stays on the buckle belt so there’s no keeping track of where it ends up in the hands of toddlers.

First thing I have to say is thank you ! Who would have thought something that us parents, now grandparents have struggled with for years. Something so simply designed could literally eliminate such frustration by both parents and children. I've read a lot of the reviews and I've yet Read one that talks about how it can literally save a life. A kid gets left in a hot car, car accident , parents cannot get to the child, rescue workers can't get to the child with all the doors locked, car is submerged in water, on fire. But with this release mechanism a child could get himself out of a helpless situation. I saw how my very independent 4-year-old grandson was so frustrated that he could not get himself out of his seat . So I Googled and bought one for the car seat in my car and then I went back and bought two more one for each of his parents vehicles. Now I'm buying two more for other family members. I would love to see them made in a glow in the dark option for safety purposes. And yes although we are all equipped with them I will buy more if and when glow in the dark is available and donate the original ones to friends and other family members with little ones.

I wish I would have bought this sooner! My son is still in a 5point buckle, and once he started Kindergarten, it was a pain to have to either turn completely around to unbuckle him or get out of the car. Once I was around 7months pregnant I felt, "there has to be a better way". This was that way. My son can unbuckle himself now and get his backpack on while we wait in the line.I made sure to go over the rules of the button so my son knew he's never to unbuckle without asking, and definitely not while the car is moving.

This has helped grandma get my youngest out of her car seat so much easier. My mom loves to watch our kids but being able to grip the car seat buckle hard enough to push the button in to release was a struggle with her arthritis. This bucklebee has helped her in such a significant way, even I use it now just because it’s so easy.

The product works well... However, my extremely sensory sensitive five year old does not like the "bulky touchy" feeling touching her legs from the center buckle. It's unavoidable, but something to consider before purchasing.

If you struggle with the release button on a car seat, you must order this. No longer struggle with applying enough pressure to get them out. It makes it so easy to use. I like the bright colors that make it easy to spot. If you have nails, it works as well. Game changer for me!

This helps so much! I have nails that are in the way and they made it hard to push down. So my husband bought me one. It’s small and non bulky. It’s easy to use and fits right on our nuna Car seat. Worth the money!

These are AMAZING!We now have 4 carseats in our car, so we need our bigger kids to be able to unbuckle themselves in the back. Learning curve was only 1 day! My 3.5 and 5 year old can now get out easily by themselves!
