I have repaired over 100 "X" series iPhones this is the first purchase I made in needed fast weekend shipping and this unit DOES NOT COME with heat shield this is a mistake DO NOT BUY any screen assembly for a "X" series iPhone with out heat shield pre-installed takes an extra 20 minutes a luck not to tear the transfer cable I WILL NEVER BUY AGIANTouch response around outer edges is below average performanceIf you work on a lot of phones and you can transfer the heat shield the LCD assembly is decent quality but for a DYI repair I would stay away from this model

Do not, do not, DO NOT buy this. It should be removed from Amazon in all honesty.The touch registration is NON-EXISTENT! I’ve never been so frustrated in my life, all I want is to send a measly “hey” and I end up with “crump”. Not even joking. You literally have to use so much force and pressure to do anything, the screen will probably crack before long. The worst product I have ever purchased in my life and I have bought A LOT of worthless junk… the most irritating part is trying to delete a typo and getting “llllllllllll”.And it arrived super late, so late in fact, I actually got a refund. I still regret it though, 🤬.

Changed from 2 stars to 1, as the glitching just continued to get worse and I ended up having to replace my phone. Not worth the money and trouble of replacing the screen if it doesn’t work as intended and you end up paying for a brand new phone anyway.Completed installation (no instructions provided, had to refer to YouTube) and the screen is glitchy. Almost as if it’s short circuiting. Better than a broken screen, but not much. Also, I can no longer use the reverse camera lens, as the image is horrible and cloudy looking. 👎🏻

I dropped my phone down the steps, the case & screen protector prevented any visible damage but the touch screen did not work. Without it I couldn't unlock the phone to save my pics and other info. Tried hard reset with buttons, no bueno so I took the screen off to see if a connector popped loose; again, no go. Decided to try replacing screen & digitizer even though there was no visible damage, PROBLEM SOLVED! The tiny screws are a bear to work with and swapping the selfie camera from the old to new was the hardest part. A magnetic screw mat is your friend, not included. With a steady hand, good eyesight, some patience and a new ZTR replacement touchscreen you can save some $$. Very pleased with the results!
