Focus Fitness Gear Adjustable Weighted Adult Speed Cable Wire Fitness Jump Rope

I have used it two times and I can already tell it is a great product. I'm new to jump roping and still need a lot of practice, but even though I'm not familiar with other jump ropes out there (this was my first one) I can give this product five stars for the following reasons:1 - The rope is super light2 - Super easy to handle3 - It is adjustable so no matter what height you are, you can adjust it accordingly4 - The best of all is the handbook I received after my purchase. It contains about 15 work out sets and they are great. So far I've done two of them.I definitely recommend this product and also recommend jump roping to anyone who would like to burn a lot of calories and tone your body at the same time.

I had tightened the adjusters and on the first swing around, one came loose and fell on into the grass next to the spot I had cleared to jump rope. I couldn't find it so I tied a knot so I could at least try the darn thing out. I didn't like it. Then my boyfriend tried a couple days later and on his first swing around, the other adjuster came off! We think that one landed on the roof, it went up but did not come back down. So now this thing is pretty useless. I tied a knot on the other side and unfortunately will be ordering another jump rope, but definitely NOT another one of these.

The jump rope itself is decent. It was fairly easy to cut the wires to the length I needed. The rope itself doesn't kink, which is nice, though I do wish it was a tad thicker--I've really stung my shins on a couple of occasions.The video and the free e-book are pretty much pointless. As someone who is not at all coordinated, I was hoping for some help in getting a good rhythm going, but the video just shows you how to cut the jump rope to the right length, and the e-book offers exercises but little or no guidance for the uncoordinated on how to actually jump rope without constantly smacking yourself.

I wanted to like this jump rope, but I don't. Having adjusted it, to make it shorter, meant that there is a bit of the rope sticking out from the handle. That just seems sloppy, and uncomfortable. I also don't like using a cable. I get that it gives it more weight, but I don't think it will feel good on my shins, when I get hit with the rope. I tried using this twice and that was enough for me. It was a waste of my money.

I do not recommend this model. Despite careful tightening and maintenance, the wire manages to "catch" or randomly slow down due to slight twisting of the rope. I suppose it's just a matter of the design. That said, one can still use these sufficiently well to jump rope. As a beginner, this issue doesn't warrant purchasing another jump rope immediately. I'll live with it for a while.

Best jump rope I've tried so far, did not have satisfactory results with the thicker vinyl ones since the "rope" has a memory to it when it's put away and even when hanging ,it was still getting tangled up and annoying to use. I decided to try this one and it is a much better improvement, don't think i'll be needing to look for another jump rope any time soon.-Lightweight.-Ball bearings in handles really make rotation very very smooth .-Very easy to adjust, no tools needed and I like the fact that I don't really need to cut the cable, only optional in my case.-Good value for your money.- Ideal for speed jumping.Can't really think of any negatives so far, will bring them up if ever find any but so far, so good and would buy again/recommend to anyone.

I've never been great at doing any of the fancy stuff, but I do like jumping rope as a standard part of my workout and have had a few different jump-ropes over the years.I'd have to say this is the best I've had to date.It seems extremely durable, and the cable is the perfect weight for me. Light enough to be pretty effortless, but still heavy/stiff enough that it will come around without having to whip it.I may even attempt to up my game and get fancy with the jumping.Some people complained that the set screws could back out, so I put a dab of thread lock on them after I had it adjusted, and they're going nowhere without a screwdriver.I imagine nail polish would work as well.I would absolutely recommend this to a friend.

This was a great rope that I used a lot... until the cable broke open at the bottom. I've since sent multiple emails to their listed support address requesting a replacement, per the lifetime warranty offer advertised. These are 6 emails over the last 11 days, without any response despite my read receipts showing that each email has been read multiple times. The replacement policy reads: "We stand by each and every cable and component we manufacture with a no questions asked 100% lifetime warranty. If at any time your speed rope becomes damaged we will be happy to replace it." Don't advertise this if you're not going to honor it.
