Fits the QX56 but the struts are too strong and the tailgate motor won't open or close it.
The struts are well made but provide way too much resistance, so the trunk lid will not open or close unless manually helped to do so. I tried opening and closing it many times to see if it would "brake-in" the struts, but in the end I put the old struts back. I could hear the tailgate motor struggling and I had a feeling it would eventually burn out. That said, even without being worried about the motor, the tailgate would not open or close on its own. If it did open, it would do so to about 75% of the swing and then it would close again. Too bad. Money wasted.
