Chistorra (7 ounce)

This sausage is terrible. It is very oily on the outside and oozed oil when you bite into it. We expected much better flavor for this price! The skin is tough, which we can deal with, but there is quite a bit of gristle that you cannot chew into submission.I will try to use it up in my paellas. I'll slice it thin--although it is only as wide as my finger (or a Slim Jim) and saute it to try to leach some of the oil out of it.I do not recommend this at all. This is not the way this sausage should be.
