Right Shears is a product of high utility. It has a sturdy and pleasant design. Right Shears unique grips allows me to handle with ease as I navigate a cut on any material from cardboard or celery all the while keeping my arm and hand in an ergonomically correct position. I also appreciate the finesse of the blades on Right Shears. As I cut, I am reminded that I made a great investment in a pair of scissors!

I LOVE my Right Shears! At first I have to admit that I was a bit hesitant to use them but once I did I literally could not go back to using "regular" scissors. I especially love using them for those ridiculously hard to open Costco packages, in the kitchen to cut food for my kids, portion fish and poultry and for every wrapping job for my kids friends birthday parties. Can't wait to try them out during Christmas time. This is the first review I have ever written on Amazon. I had to write one because they are excellent quality and have made me a true believer that they were worth every penny. Will definitely be gifting these to friends and family!Update: I was desperate to find a way to get the lotion out of my expensive facial and body lotion bottles, my right shears got the job done!

Works well with re-upholstering

This would have been great if the handles were done better. It's configured to make you hold it in a very awkward way. If they had just made both loops the larger size this would be an exceptional product.

Right shears are awesome!! The angle at which the scissors are held makes it very easy on the wrist and elbow. It's a much more natural motion and reduces shoulder and wrist strain. The scissors are high quality and they cut through the toughest of material. They are great for cutting through large pieces of cardboard or other material. No more paper cuts on scrapes from hitting the material as it is cut. Great value for the price.

The concept was good. But I found these difficult to use. I'll keep them with wrapping paper etc but I doubt I will use them again

I was so eager to use these for cutting hardware cloth, like in the pictures on their website. That hardware cloth is such a literal pain; I always end up with bloody pokes. So of course, it's one of the first things I tried. A little awkward, but better than most other solutions (strong normal scissors, wire cutters, sheetmetal shears).So I'm not sure if it was because of the hardware cloth, or if it would have happened anyway, but these don't even cut paper or thin plastic any more. I should have tried that first to see if they came out of the box unable to cut paper. But I don't apologize for trying hardware cloth first, even if that's what damaged them -- it is one of their main advertising points!

Love them, takes a bit to get use to but they are so much easier for me to use. I get lots of hand cramps and this has helped me a lot.
