Lange Pharmacology Flashcards, Fourth Edition 4th Edition

These are excellent cards! They have color photos and diagrams, and are grouped nicely. They also have a hole punch in the top corner, so you can keep them on a ring, or break them down into smaller groups for rings. The information on the card is very useful. I am using these to study with my pharmacology sets.

I am a medical student, and a fellow student recommended me these after expressing that I thought pharmacology was overwhelming. I used these, supplemented with First Aid and Anking, and they worked well for my class and for the NBME (passed above average). I wrote extra information in the spaces between since they don't cover everything.

Lovely cards! I wish they were hold punched or something with a binder ring, so I’ll have to DIY that lol! But I love the format! Much better for testing myself rather than having a summary card. Case on the front, the answer + info on the back. Thank you!

These cards are perfect for step 1! They have various classes broken down ie antifungals, antivirals etc on cards. Then they have a patient vignette card with the full drug info on the back (MOA, similar drugs, side effect, uses.) Has a nice space too so you can annotate or add notes. My only issue why I took 1 star off is the material of the card. Printed on super thin and flimsy paper! Considering getting them laminated so they hold up. Other than that these are perfect for your step 1 study.

Good scenarios, make it easy to retain the kost important information.

I was hoping for something that was more a) the size of index cards, b) the thickness of index cards, and c) had more organized information in bullet points. These cards are more composed of weird classification trees of different drugs in an insensible arrangement, or a bunch of word problems with the answer on the back. I was also thrown off by the thinness of the paper - it really feels like someone took a textbook and chopped it up into pieces.Don't get me wrong, it will still be helpful, I was just hoping for something higher quality given the price.

Great study aid for pharmacology. The clinical vignette helped with recognizing clinical scenarios. I recommend highlighting and underlining things as your courses require.
