Fab item which works well and is easy to use. It also reads the thermo chips. Easy to download scanner angel updates which allows you to detect if the animal has been reported lost or stolen. It is quite robust and the animals accept it easily.One tip if you want a specific colour case be sure to put a note on your order as we assumed we would get a blue one with the blue scanner however a green one arrived as they are assigned randomly. This was quickly sorted out by the seller and they sent out the blue one. Great customer service and speedy delivery.

It was quite easy to use, I would’ve preferred a bit more grip as we have a lot of rain here in Ireland!

I bought this to see if it would be of use on my smallholding for identifying sheep, The official readers cost 100s. Well it works well; although it only reads one at a time it makes checking ids so much easier. Would be fantastic if a bit of software was available to list perhaps 20 or so scans

Fantastic bit of kit we had a litter of GSD puppies and identified them but quick release different coloured colliers but once they were 6 weeks old and chipped they got more boisterous and collars kept coming off. We had deposits on the pups so needed a way of positive identification the scanner was perfect strong out of the box.

It does the job perfectly. Since I don't live in UK, I don't need the "Angel" part of the software, but would have liked to download it. McAfee warned me that downloading it was dangerous, so I didn't do it, though Micro-ID reassured me it was safe.
