Plaining is everything!
When doing these it's best to lay out your plan before you start applying these as there are more gold pieces than copper so keep that in mind! Looks awesome no matter what pattern you decide to go with! Also wouldn't hurt to gently heat up the sticky side with either a heat gun or hair dryer for optimal adhesion. Used them to update the look of bad woodgrain paneling on the cabinet faces of my camper's cabinets.
