Very impressed
The media could not be loaded. Very impressed with this considering its low price. The app took a couple of attempts to pair the vacuum to our wifi. It didn't work on one phone, but I tried on a different phone and it worked straight away. With the vacuum connected to wifi the app works on both phones now. The app allows access to the in-built camera which gives peace of mind that the vac is not stuck or up to no good while its cleaning in another room or while we are away from home. Using the app also gives you a degree of manual control and the option to send it back to the charger point. Its worth sticking the charge point to the floor because the I3 can try to push it around while its in the clean mode. You don't have to use the app, a single press button will stop and start the cleaning cycle, while picking the I3 up and placing it on the charger base will also work for charging. We have only laminate flooring throughout and the JISIWEI I3 does a great job vacuuming this. The dust collector is simple to use and has 1 main filter and 1 HEPA type filter that are easy to remove for cleaning. I am surprised how much dust it picks up deposits in the dust container after a session, while it's not even very loud (for a vacuum cleaner). It does do a bit of banging into furniture at times, but no more than I ever did with a cylinder vac. I don't consider the I3 to be very clever, but it is smart and it doesn't matter to me that it may go over the same bit of floor more than once as it bumbles about finding its way around to ensure all the corners are cleaned. Its a real time saver for me.

An excellent Robotic Cleaner that works on Hard Floors and low pile carpets.
Excellent Robotic vacuum cleaner, ordered this as part of the Black Friday promotion, I certainly would not have considered this otherwise, and it fascinated me to get one of these. Unpacking the item, it contains a cleaning brush, 4 brushes for the cleaner (2 for the cleaner, 2 spare), remote control (no batteries), a very large manual (in multiple languages), the charging station and power adaptor and the cleaner itself.Putting it on to charge is simplicity itself, make sure the "camera" (small upright post by the LED's) is facing the similar one on the charging station, there is also a on/off switch on the cleaner, you can charge it with it switched off. Download the app from the App Store, then run the app to configure.I ran into several problems trying to get the WiFi to connect, however after several hours, I finally worked out why, and this is not well documented from a quick start perspective. I have a dual band router (2.4ghz and 5ghz), when you run the set up it will by default populate the name of the WiFi channel with the same as your phone, as my phone supports 5ghz, it puts that as the default, and prompts for the password to your router - HOWEVER the cleaner only operates on 2.4ghz, so your phone MUST be connected on that until set up is complete. Once the cleaner is linked to the WiFi then you can switch your phone back to 5ghz, there might be a slight time delay from the app finding the cleaner. The App is pretty basic and has options for "Clean","Recharge", "Up","Down","Left", "Right", "HD Camera, SD Camera", "Record","Events" etc, but does the job, inside the app, are options for Connecting to Wifi manually, reset to factory and email configuration. My house is lino/hard floor in my kitchen, and carpet in the lounge (low pile hard wearing carpet - similar to office I suppose), so the cleaner had no problems with either. Although my living room has cables and other items the cleaner can get caught up in, so to leave it alone to clean I would need to block off those areas as it tends to get caught up on cables. The only issue I had was getting it to find the charging station, this might be caused by the fact a lot of my devices have "red" or "blue" LEDs when powered up, so I expect it got very confused!I ran the cleaner over my living room, and it does pick up a lot of fluff, debris and rubbish, and has a powerful motor for a unit of its size, I even put some small broken potato crisps down and steered it over them, it picked up all bits - I did have to steer it over them a few times as it wanted to move to another part of the room. All in all this cleaner works perfectly and great fun to use for cleaning up small debris/mess on the floor, the most important thing is that for those users with dual band routers, make sure you do all the set up in 2.4ghz first and when its configured you switch back to 5hgz.Make sure also that the charging station is secure against a flat wall, as when it does try to dock with it, it gets a bit over-ambitious and looks like it is trying to 'mate' so can push it really hard which if the charging station is not glued or fixed to the floor or secure in any way it will push it along. The only thing would like to see improved is the app, as I feel it is a bit clunky and restrictive, the remote has more functions than the app, and it really needs updating.Update:1, there is a piece of small foam stopping the front bumper from being sensitive, the label on the back says to remove it from the front bumper, but if you did not understand its reference, make sure you look below the yellow "^" on the front, and you will see a little packaging under this, remove the insert and you will find the front bumper more sensitive.2. The listed contents on this page state two mopping pads, I have only found 1 mopping pad in the box (1 on the machine), it is possible there are two, will update this section again after checking.Highly recommended for hard floors and low pile carpets.

Good product - Supplier less so
OK - 2 months in and here's the warts and all verdict.Firstly I have both hardwood floors and carpets. This handles both with ease, but thick rugs are a no-no.Secondly I was highly sceptical of the concept of a cordless robot vacuum - how could it compete with a big 'proper' vacuum. Well the simple answer is it can't.......but what it can to is clean for hours and do it every day, whilst you only get a few minutes doing it yourself. The end result is exceptionally clean floors. The mop attachment is brilliant - I would advise vacuuming first without the trailing mop, and then mop afterwards. So here is the bad:The catch holding the dust box door closed broke after a couple of weeks. I contacted the supplier for a spare catch and was asked to source a replacement myself..........So I did. This Brabantia catch works perfectly: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01H2T3QUW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I asked the supplier if it was possible to buy additional mop cloths....apparently you can't. So I tried fitting a vax steam mop pad. Not only did it work, but the longer pile of the Vax pads gave better cleaning.I tried to buy new HEPA filters......apparently you can't get them either. But these fit perfectly: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07432NLNN/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The phone app is a bit....well....pants, but it works after a fashion. TBH I just use the remote control. After a few months I am a convert to robo-vacs and I love the JISIWEI. Not so keen on the supplier however, hence the docked star.
