Took this to my kid’s this last week as a birthday gift for my 5 year old grandson. I was worried it would be a bit much for him to maneuver but no issues. He loved watching this little guy walking around and didn’t even care that he wasn’t the one operating the remote. Seems very solid and sturdy. They have a very low pile carpet and it walked just fine on it along with the linoleum. I wouldn’t recommend for a heavier carpet as it would tip too easily. He stands about 10-12” tall and looks just like pictured.

My four year old was interested in a robot and I thought this was the right price as a starter robot (vs some of the $100+ ones). Like most things in life, you get what you pay for. While I can appreciate some of its features there are more that I’m displeased with. I like least the voice/speaking element. It’s clear that English was not their first language and it says inappropriate and inaccurate things.Regardless of my thoughts— The true evaluation of this toy however is that my son has put it down after the first day and not looked at it again.

So first off, this is made in china. They don't let you forget that while using it. The manual is full of funny translation issues and there are tons of reminders that the creators were not English as a first language.HOWEVER! It works really well, says some funny things, and does everything is says it does. The controls work really well and it even moved fast on thick carpet. It had a 2.5 year old totally convinced that it was alive.If you have a sense of humor and need a fun toy for a kid or adult, this is a solid choice.

We got this when our son was four and really into robots and he still plays with it almost two years later. This is a great robot toy, it works right out of the box and does all the cool robot things a kid could want. I even like the voice and speech feature, it sounds just like you’d expect a robot to sound. It’s even got a program feature which is a nice early coding skill to learn. Overall awesome robot!
