The best fork for me
It is absolutely great. I have only one criticism which is that, by describing it an an apprentice fork, I really didn't know what I was getting. It is small - suitable for people of my size and under- 5'4". And there must be lofty apprentices who need longer, heavier forks. That said, I looked for ages on the internet and could not find anything appropriate - most give no indication whatsoever of size and weight. So I felt this was my best bet - which it certainly proved to be. . The first fork described as a ladies fork must be for 6' Amazonian women and had to go back. So I'm very grateful for this, which is exactly what I need.

Not very strong
Looked great when it arrived ,but the first time I used it ,it snapped,the fork head came away ,

Great value for money
It's very lightweight and small but does the job perfectly.

Shoddy and poor quality
I was really disappointed when I received this, which is a shame as it was the perfect size for my kids (9 and 6). The handle was poorly attached and wobbly, and all the prongs of the fork were bent at different angles, so it's had to go back. What makes this even more disappointing is that I bought the Joseph Bentley apprentice soil rake and a small fork and they were fantastic quality. There was no option to exchange this product for another one so I have no idea if this was a one-off or if all the forks were of equally bad quality......an update - I later purchased one of these garden forks in a garden centre and the quality was excellent, so I can only assume that Amazon just sent a dodgy one out.

Perfect great border fork
Perfect great border fork, just the right size to do the little jobs that don't need a huge fork. Fabulous quality will last a while. Came very quick and packed well.

Did not meet my requirements
It was light and felt fine but I have returned it because the metalwork cracked.Might be a bad batch . I was just aerating the lawn for 15 minutes.Sent it back today for a refund

Nicely made
Got this for my 7 year old nephew so he can help me on the allotment, it is well made and does the job, may be a bit heavy for a 7 year old, but he will grow in to it.
