This device is intended to solve a problem long observed: conventional lock has not evolved considerably, and this has increased their vulnerability, because nowadays, anyone with adequate means can open without forcing by some method such as bumping, slip , lockpick, magic key, etc. This leads to many problems of insecurity and helplessness for any citizen in their home, office, cellar, country house etc.. Remock Lockey is a surprise factor for burglars who attempt to perpetrate a robbery and have forced the conventional lock because they find unexpected barrier. Remock Lockey can be installed on any door, and even windows. Is a complementary lock to the other already installed. Can be fixed by screws at doors of wood or metal, and at glass doors with extra strong adhesive which is provided. You can install the number of locks that you think necessary on each door. You can even open and close all of them with one remote control. A remote control can open an unlimited number of locks. You only need to link each control with each lock.

Screws were tiny
I had to replace the manufacturer supplier screws they would not hold the lock to the door on a minor forced entry from a child.

Remock Lockey review - a well overdue lock in this day and age.
Though at £275 (delivered to my door) I feel this is a relatively expensive lock especially as no matter the lock a door can more or less always be pushed in - that said, this lock is virtually invisible from the outside and therefore presents an unexpected barrier to anyone trying to break in that is unaware of its existence.Being the unique item it is with none that I know to compare against, and with the incorporated technologies (ie anticopy encryption with rolling code, etc) and the peace of mind the package offers one, I dare not complain or dwell too much on the cost but instead praise the positives - this type of lock is well overdue and I am so glad I came across it.I fitted this at a friends house and have nothing but praise for it.This is a well thought out lock, the lock button on the remote is larger than the open which reduces the likelihood of accidentally opening it, You are more likely to accidentally lock than open. The first thing I did before even attempting to install the lock was to test that it worked, the remotes were already paired to the lock in my case but the manuak does tell you how to re-pair should there be need to do so - I advice you test that it does work and follow the advice on working with the lock - though a manual method of opening/closing the lock is provided they do advice you not to use it unduly, it is there for emergency use. When you receive the lock it is held onto a bracket by four screws, I have been able to find 5 positions the lock can sit into the bracket, level or slanted. This for me made fitting the lock a versatile affair. The bit the lock latches into came attached by three screws to a square metal backplate (probably about 2.5" inches square approx.) which ordinarily would have increased the surface area - but I removed it to reduce the footprint and the need to chisel away part of the door frame to fit it and instead fitted this directly onto a level part of the door frame. You obviously first need to measure and think out your install options ahead of fixing the lock and latch - measure out and know where you are going to fix lock and latch, measure again, detach lock from base bracket, fix bracket in place, put lock back into bracket, measure for latch again, you can lock latch into lock to ensure proper placement and clearances - unlock, fix lock, voila -> a happy bunny :D.... simples. To simplify install, detach the lock from the bracket, you can either use the sticky backing to affix the bracket onto glass or other flat surface or use 4 screws (that best suit what you are fixing to, ie Wood screws for a wooden door, etc) in the holes provided at each corner of the brackets base - I made additional holes in my brackets base to strengthen the fix. You then need to put the lock back into the bracket and move on to fixing the latch.Additional info I would have found useful ahead of time :-i) Lock comes with 4 remotes, batteries already fitted in remotes so no need to fiddle about there. The Locks 2 AA batteries are not fitted but are included in the box.ii) While it is said that you can have up to 16 remotes for one lock, atm you cannot currently buy extra remotes from Amazon but would need to acquire through the seller.iii) All remotes are paired to the lock in one go, this requires you to manually key on the lock and then on the remotes you want to pair lock to and this takes place with a limited time frame, about 15 seconds or so.This simply means if you loose/misplace a remote all you need to do is re-pair with the ones in your possession, and only the remotes you pair can then open the lock - the lost/misplaced remote is no longer paired to your lock - test this, you have 4 remotes. When you lock the device, it emits a couple of beeps and one beep when unlocked. Not much else to say, the description given against the item at the time of my writing this review was pretty accurate apart form the additional info I added on here as I thought might be useful.I hope this review helps anyone in need of a lock like this.
