Impressive quality.
The media could not be loaded. I've been using the BASF Ultrafuse 3D printer filament for a while now, and I have to say that I'm really impressed. The filaments have low warp and high bed adhesion, which makes them ideal for printing large objects. The colors are also very vibrant, and the filament is easy to work with. Overall, I would highly recommend this filament to anyone looking for a quality 3D printing experience. Packaging was in excellent condition when received.

Product is not new
The white PLA showed up in a non-sealed box. When you open that the filament wasn’t even vacuum sealed. Anyone that knows 3D printing would know that filament needs to be dry, so there is no telling how long this has been sitting in the moist air or even worse, if the full reel is actually there.

Sloppy spool, stringy prints
I really wanted to like this filament. BASF is a brand I have been familiar with since I was young and they are known for quality electronics. Unfortunately this filament doesn't measure up. The spool arrived loosely and sloppily wrapped. Luckily that was just cosmetic as it did not tangle during printing. The filament prints stringy and the layers don't stick together well. At my usual nozzle temp of 200 it failed utterly. Recommended temp is 200 - 220 so I kicked the heat up to 210. That helped a lot but not enough. Still lots of stringing and layers separating. Perhaps some experimenting with the settings could have produced a clean print but after numerous fails, I'm done fussing with it.

The best PLA I've ever used
I've seen users recommended BASF filament online, but never tried it due to its price. ($25 for 800g, or about $31/kg). I can say it is one of, if not the best PLA Filaments I've ever used. Immediately loaded it into my printer, and did a few test prints on it (cube, benchy, etc) and they all came out perfect with my usual PLA profile. Usually I need to adjust one or two things in Cura when using a new filament, but this printed perfect. Walls are smooth, no blobbing at all, overhangs and bridges are something I've never seen on my printer. Perhaps my other PLA filaments need more tuning, but this BASF worked so well.My settings were:205/60cFlow rate 92% (E-step calibrated but for some reason in cura I need to turn down flow rate on PLA)1.3mm, 35mm/s retraction on a DD setupPrint speed of 60mm, 35 outer wall 45 inner wall, 60 infill
