Q: Is this ok for cat 7a cable?

It's not a good quality product. Pay a bit extra and get a bigger quality crimper.

Q: The metal cased connectors do not fit the rj45 socket on the test kit, and do not fit in a standard ethernet port. Am I confused?

It's an extremely low quality kit. Mine did fit, but the crimper tool simply breaks the plastic on the connectors.

Q: RJ45 connector prong count. Are there two or three prongs/teeth that stab into the wires inside the rj45 connectors?

1) Don't buy this kit as the RJ45 connectors and the crimping tool are rubbish. Search for "Kenable" and buy their kit (much cheaper) 2) Three, but they break. I wasted 2m of Cat6 on this.

Q: Is this kit compatible with a cat6a u/ftp lsoh solid cable?

Great kit but we did have to buy so larger ends from cpc as the ones in the pack were too tight
