Joseph 10" Memory Foam Mattress, 3ft Single

To short for bed, did not expand like it should have. Return first one new one was sent and this one was the same, instead of the mattress expanding the longer we used it the shorter it got. Perhaps to do with my husband being on the larger side (17 and a half stone). The mattress ended up about 10 to 12 inches to short for the bed. Didn't bother to return this time as it was cheap, and more hassle that it was worth to return it. On the plus side mattress looks good and not terribly uncomfortable, might be ok for a child's bed, if it is a weight issue.

Comfy mattress, on time delivery!IMPORTANT UPDATE I now have had the benefit of limited use and sadly have to report that quite frankly these mattresses are very poor quality and not fit for purpose. After less than six months of light use two broken springs now project through the side ‘support’ which is the equivalent of two sharp nails poking out of the side, which could cause injury, and has torn the side of the fitted sheet. I see a previous reviewer has suffered the same fate so this is not an isolated incident.Please ignore any claim of memory foam – it is so thin that it is almost non-existent.The response to my complaint (with photos) to Bed Express- a vague email absolving themselves of any responsibility and no reply at all to my second email - so much for customer service. Nowhere can I find any reference to the length of warranty which shows how little faith they have in their product My biggest regret is that I didn’t read the less than complimentary one star reviews and had invested more time (and money) in a better quality mattress from a reputable company.

Bought this item 2 years ago and just lately noticed something digging in my side. A sharp spike protruding through the mattress top, torn sheet and if doing more than sleeping as this is all I use it for, then a serious injury could be caused by sliding down and tearing your skin on the extremely sharp point.No matter what it cost, it is obviously not fit for purpose and is very dangerous.Have tried for two days to contact Joseph International. Yesterday, 23 calls to them and they cut me off each time. Today have tried to contact to speak with someone and no answer. Next step, Trading Standards.12/04/2018After numerous telephone calls and emails to Amazon I am still no further in getting a replacement for this dangerous item. The 'third party seller' I purchased from has disappeared from Amazon shortly after purchasing this item evidently and Amazon will take no responsibility for this. Amazon customer services just keep telling me to contact the seller. I keep telling them that the seller has disappeared as they already know and that emails just bounce back.I have uploaded a picture of the spike protruding through the mattress. If this was on the bed of an infant or younger person who wriggles and turns in bed during sleep it would tear their skin to shreds.

Not 100% sure about the memory foam, cant really feel it that much but you cant feel the springs either so there must be something there, this was for our daughter and we have a solid memory foam bed so its very different to what we are used to but she likes it a lot. Delivery was on time but they email you to say they cant contact you even though we supplied a number, strangely 2 days later after delivery we got another mattress, it was left with a neighbour and this was a bit inconvenient but it was collected after a few days. All in all as they say, you get what you pay for.

Whoever said in one of the reviews this isn't a real memory foam mattress makes me wonder what planet they are on!?The soft side is the memory foam mattress and is lovely to sleep on, though it does take your body a day of so to adjust. My partner no longer snores keeping me awake which is fabulous!!The downside is trying to get the mattress upstairs with no hand grips!!!! The mattress is so big you have to twist and turn and push and pull, it took myself and my partner 30 mins to get it up 14 straight steps!! But once it's installed it's wonderful

I purchased this seeking a new mattress on a budget for me and my girlfriend and felt this was perfect. After a few nights decent sleep I started getting a lot of sleepless nights waking up with back ache or aches in the side of thigh I had been laying, my girlfriend rarely suffers from bad back and she has also had lots of bad nights sleep, but other than that it's quite firm, it's sprung and has a memory foam top. Delivery was OK, the guy said he'd get sacked if he got caught helping me get it up a small flight of stairs but it wasn't heavy just an awkward size.

what can I say, very unsure about getting mattresses off internet without testing them .but when they came was not overly impressed but when I got on it its the most comfortable I have felt for years.I have slept right through every night since they arrived. I suffer with bad hip and terrible circulation and had,nt slept well since my hip started bothering me. So anyone who suffers similar complaints these mattresses are for you! or just if you want a good nights sleep. My wife has had no complaints ,these mattresses are worth the money you can trust Joseph international !!! nice one. Gordon a satisfied customer.

The mattress might be as intended but, it is far too soft for us. We had no idea that it was a medium. We will have to change it.I have to revise my review and you will see why, I was, not so happy with the mattress because it was so soft but, I had not realized that I had purchased a medium, I got in touch with the company and they literally went the extra mile for me. The company exchange my mattress for a medium to firm one at no expense to me and now I have been having very comfortable nights with plenty of zzzzzzzzzzzzs!PLB
