Airflow Hack
I tried one of the small black plastic ones before this one. I like how small the plastic one is, and I can just keep it in my mouth without hands/chew on it a bit. This one is harder to do that with. But it is a minor critique. If you want to change the draw/airflow, fray more of one of the ends (all the way to half way, or cut one of the cores in half. If you want even more airflow, fray part of the core that’s cut in half. See my picture for an example. So if you’re not happy with the airflow, you CAN change it up. Once I messed around with the airflow and got it how I want it, I was more satisfied with it. Taste and flavor is little concern for me. Still haven’t found an essential oil that I enjoy, but I haven’t tried many at this point. Although, I did put a bit too much of lavender on the core the first time. Now that it’s been aired out and mixed with a bit of peppermint, it’s not too bad. I don’t want something strong as of right now. Something sweet would likely do the trick! Anyways, I’m pretty satisfied with it, I really just wanted to write this review so that people could see my little “airflow hack” since I didn’t see anyone else talking about it on here.

Meh
Coming from someone who has vaped for about 8 years and is finally ready to make a change. It’s pretty hard to switch to something like this but I figured it would make things a bit easier than just quitting over night. I will say that the airflow with the entire wick absolutely sucked. But I’ve found that once you fray the end and if you peel away maybe 1/4 and at most 1/3 or the wick long ways it definitely helps air flow to feel more natural to a vape. It feels pretty good in the hand but can be a little noisy when inhaling. Overall not a bad product but there could be some improvements when it comes to functionality of this. It’s a good items if you’re willing to finally take the step to change your habits

Poorly engineered
Intended this to be used to quit vaping. It looks nice and feels fine in the hand. The wick and the hole in the device are about the same size. The airfow is blocked by the wick. Take out the wick and the airflow is fine. Fraying the end excessively, as someone suggested, really doesn't work. Cutting the wick and making it shorter doesn't work. The problem is the wick and the hole are almost the same size so it acts as a plug. Fraying has nothing to do with activating or helping the essential oil work. It is used to keep the wick from falling out of the tube. And no, the air does not flow through the wick, it is supposed to flow around it and pick up the essential oil as it passes by. I took a cotton swab, drenched it with black pepper oil, and swabbed the inside of the tube. Doesn't work as well as a wick intended for aromatherapy, but it sort of works. I'm keeping it because it is close to the draw on a vape or cigarette which makes it better for use to help quitting either. Last complaint. It is outrageously expensive considering the wick is useless and you are buying a small piece of wood with a hole in it.

The Best Essential Oil Inhaler
I have tried this product and the Fum and for me, the Viglory wins ...no contest! In terms of ease of use, price (which is about a quarter of the price of the Fum), the number of cores you get per pack, and how long they last (Fum cores average around 3 days whereas a single Viglory core last well over a week!!)To be clear I like the design of the Fum and the flavors but the cores need to be stronger and you are paying out for replacements way too often. With Viglory it is more basic but works extremely well If you have essential oils you can use 6 or more drops and you are good to go. The number of drops depends on how strong the essential oil you choose.

Helpful for quitting smoking
This has been so helpful during quitting smoking. It gives my hand and mouth something to do so I don't crave the cigarette as much. It goes everywhere with me. The insert is easily filled or refilled with an extract of choice. It definitely doesn't feel like ya take a hit but like I said, I have it so my hand has something to do and fidget with.

It helps a lot
Especially with nicotine gum, it helps a TON. I recommend cutting the filter in half both horizontal and vertical putting, putting the oil/herb on after, then placing in the wood device.

Decent quality, competitive price.
What are you looking for with this purchase? It does what it’s supposed to do, but let’s face it .. depending upon your intentions, it might or t not be a big waste of money. It’s basically an overpriced hollow tube. It looks a little better, but you could achieve the same purpose with half of an unscrewed ink pen. Still, it does help a bit with oral fixation and that “hand to mouth” habit. I’m not, and have never been, a smoker. I am, however, a dieter who is trying to lose weight and deal with my own boredom or nervous energy that might otherwise lead to consumption of unnecessary excess calories. And it DOES help with that, to some degree. Don’t expect miracles .. it won’t get rid of cravings (of any kind). But at least it will give you something to “do” with the urge you’re experiencing that isn’t unhealthy. On a side note, I wish they offered a larger variety of food grade essential oils that don’t contain nicotine, but I suppose that’s another review.

Made in China...
