This is the compelling story of Inge Meyring Smith who was born July 4, 1923, to Jewish parents in Dresden, Germany and who, as a teen, narrowly escaped Hitler's death camps. Her family fled to America where she had to learn a new language and adapt to foreign culture. But through these, and many other travails, Inge never lost her sense of wonder at the world around her and her curiosity for things unknown.
