Sparkling Powder Puff, 0.6 Ounce

Purchased for my 5 year old granddaughter. It's a very girly item to place in the children's makeup kit I bought for her. I have purchased this item twice before for both of her sisters and they liked it. It's more pretend than anything. The puff has sparkles on it that transfers to their skin, but doesn't really fall on the floor. There's no loose sparkles or powder in the container. I'm sure after several applications the sparkles are gone. Like I said, it's more for pretending. It's a pretty box and has that ooh-la-la effect. I'd say it's strictly for little girls age 10 and younger, older kids or adults would be disappointed.

I am doing the Wizard of Oz and have about 25+ people to do make up on. This is a small stage that is about 5 feet from stage to 1st row so unlike other venues I have done, you must be careful not to do too much, especially to children, so they look fresh and not "ghoulish" / overly made up.The product I used to purchase is now discontinued so I found this on Amazon. It was very inexpensive so I figured, "What do I have to lose???" I bought 2 for the show & a few weddings I did.The Tin Man use is particularly heavy becasue it is how I am making him look metal. The main characters (Lion, Tin Man & Scarecrow) all have to turn back into human characters in less than 1 minute at the end when Dorothy returns from Oz. We could not use traditional metal paste make up on him so we used grey pancake & this product with heavy sparkle application and it works like a charm. EVERY character gets this sparkle and gets touched up 2-3 times during the show after dance numbers, etc... I JUST am running out of the 1st puff after 6 performances.If this was a single person use, that would be the equivalant of me using it everyday heavily over 150 days. Let's face it - Unless you were a showgirl or out clubbing everynight, who would use this everyday? I bought 2 more as back ups to be cautious but evvveerryyyoonnnee LOVES this stuff. The children feel so transforemd with it on and they look terrific. It really puts then into character.As for the 2 brides, they absolutely loved it. Their pics came out glowing and radiant. This stuff is my new secret weapon.I would highly reccomend this and WILL be purchasing this for all the shows I do for a little extra kick under the lights & for proms / weddings. My experience has been excellent.

After receiving this I opened it and there is no product inside. All that was there was on the powder puff. It was glittery but maybe a couple times of use is all that was inside.

Don't waste your money on this product. It was $9.50 & not worth it. Had just a tiny bit of powder, no scent, & a cheap plastic container.

It is not an iridescent or prismatic sparkle, it is one dimensional. I tend to deposit too much in one place if I am not light handed with the 'puffing'. I like this product and have reordered it once now. I use it about 3 times a week and it has lasted me about 4 months now.

Too much powder is on the puff, hard to shake some of it off. I don't see much sparkle effect, won't buy it again.

This product is pretty nice. It is actually hard to find a good, big powder puff. It does not come with powder in the container, the puff has glitter in it and it actually lasts and lasts through each use, and deposits huge amounts of glitter when you apply it. The only problem is that the box is sized only to fit the puff and nothing else. If you wanted to try to add powder or glitter, the lid which is really tight will jam shut and you can't pry it open. If the container were just a little bigger, you could put some powder in it. Just an idea.
