Should not be worn outdoors!
Im an old guy. My feet get cold and it isnt fun. For years I have tried to find a reasonably priced pair fo foot warmers. Normally , I see prices in the range of $100.00 and up. Thats too expensive for old people on a fixed income. I bought these with a bit of skepticism. I was wrong. They may not meet a lot of peoples desire for perfection but these warmers work and they were affordable. I like them and I recommend them. They are designed to be worn inside which is ok because I have outdoor footware.

An honest review
Edit: I've worn this item almost non-stop for 2-3 weeks now and have more to add. First off, I'm upping my review to 4 stars (I'd put 5 if the soles were more comfortable, they feel a bit hard). These are warmer than I'd originally thought after more use. I wear them inside but sometimes use them to walk outside and check mail/pre-heat car, etc. I think the material used, even though thin, is actually quite warm and soft on the sides. Also they keep my toes warm without cramming them in some painful way. I have combo'd these booties with other items that now keep my feet warm.Nice things I like so far about this item: The fit seems good; I have no problems getting it on and off my foot, and the snaps on them are very nice and well placed. I wear size 12 Mens and bought an extra large. They have a little bit of padding.Things I think could be better: more padding, softer bottom. I deliberately did not order boots because I didn't want a hard sole for inside use. Unfortunately, these have hard soles and virtually no padding on the soles. At the least it needs some memory foam inserts/padding on the bottoms and more padding on the sides for warmth and comfort. I'd say these are worth about $15, not $38.Also the picture seem to show the boot leg part going up a bit higher. They do not. So don't be deceived by the pictures. Minus about 2-3 inches off the upper leg length that the pictures show, and you'll have a more accurate example of this product. The reason I mention this is because I find the ankle/leg length important. For some reason most manufacturers don't seem to make slippers where you can comfortably stick a pant leg over or inside it, even though that is crucial for keeping the area warm.

I have bought $100 super high grade pure wool slippers and they did nothing ...
Every winter I always have cold feet. I have bought $100 super high grade pure wool slippers and they did nothing to help it. Now I have the opposite problem with these. These are so amazing I could trek into a frozen tundra with them. I want an entire body suit made out of this material. I want to live inside these boots every Wisconsin winter. Amazingly hot indoors... I would highly recommend these.

Great Down Booties That Keep My Feet Warm
I've always had extremely cold feet and finally decided that I needed something more than a pair of wool lumberjack socks and a heating pad to keep them warm. These booties do the trick. They're comfortable, warm, and stay on my feet. I go up and down the stairs in our place a hundred times a day wearing these and they don't hold me back. I also really like that the ankles are high and insulated. They would deserve five stars if it weren't for a single design flaw... the material that they use on the soles is a rubber polymer of some sort and has a fairly high coefficient of thermal conductivity. Thus, the heat from your feet is transferred out of the sole if it's in contact with any cold surface. Our entire downstairs is a marble floor and it's jarringly cold all of the time. So, anytime I'm standing on it or sitting on something with my feet in contact with the floor, my feet return to their uncomfortable frigid state. I've tried adding insoles but it hasn't helped much. I plan to install a layer of insulating fabric inside on the soles of the booties whenever I get around to it.btw, I typically wear a men's shoe size 9.5 or 9 (depending on shoe/manufacturer). I bought the medium-sized Cabiniste booties and they fit perfectly.

The uppers are nice and toasty
The reason for two stars instead of 5 is because there is absolutely zero, nada, zilch insulation in the soles so if you have a cold floor your going to have cold feet. The soles are made of a hard plastic material and are somewhat slick. The uppers are nice and toasty. There is a work around. I bought Dr. scholls foam inserts. Pain to get in but does the trick. Do not buy the gel inserts

60% feathers, 40% down
Not actually 100% down because it has 60% feathers according to the label sewn in the bootie. It may be legally (?) described as 100% down but it’s not 100% if you’re allergic to feathers- which I am. I’m so glad I double checked- (it may have saved me a trip to the hospital.)

OK but ehh...
Had similar booties from another manufacture (no longer available) that were very good, but they wore out. These appeared to be the closest replacement. Fit was as expected based on the size chart. These are warmer than the previous bootie -- I consider that a plus. The biggest minus is that the structure is too flexible so that my heel offsets from the insole, making walking feel weird and slightly uncomfortable. A tug on the sides of the bootie will re-center my heel in the insole, but it returns to the offset position a few steps later. One bootie is worse in this regard than the other. I doubt that I'll buy this brand again.

Warm & comfy
My husband wears an 11 shoe these booties in large could be a little longer for optimal fit. Also there's an elastic band at ankle level probably to help keep the boogie on your foot but not good for a diabetic. Pluses, they are warm & have a non slip sole.
