If you're contemplating buying this then it's a fair bet you already like House. Why start with Season 7 otherwise?Anyway there are loads of reviews about this Series, in my view this is one of the best as the writers have cranked up the humour a level or two, and the series is much funnier than the previous ones.However, the point of my review is to warn you to be careful which version you buy.The version I got (from Amazon themselves) is the Scandinavian version (still Region 2), it has English language audio but comes with a choice of Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finnish subtitles, not a problem generally as almost none of the previous seasons have subtitles anyway. However, at the start of episode 7 'A pox on our house' some of the characters speak in a foreign language (Dutch I think) and the producers have thoughtfully provided forced caption subtitles, which - you've guessed it - are available to you in one of four different languages, and, in case you weren't paying attention, English isn't one of them!! This section only lasts about 5 minutes and as the episode unfolds, you can guess roughly what they were on about. It's not necessarily a deal breaker, but it might make a difference to you, and at least you may be able to make an informed choice.If you are a fan of House, you definitely need to get this Season, but like I say, be careful which version you order.

The main story arc of season 7 is the romance between House and Cuddy. And I for one really liked it. I love the dynamics between these two characters as their relationship develops. And while it does at times bring out the softer side in House, don't expect him to change altogether. There are a few fun moments between House and Cuddy's young daughter, but the highlight of the season are the episodes featuring Cuddy's cantankerous mother played by a scene stealing Candice Bergen. The birthday dinner is absolutely priceless and very possibly my favourite moment of the entire show.And inbetween House and his team do, of course, treat the usual array of patients suffering from bizarre symptoms. Chase and Foreman are back, as is Dr Taub. A new team member is ambitious medical student Martha Masters (played by Amber Tamblyn) who refuses to lie to anybody. It took me a time to warm to her and I really welcomed the return of Thirteen late in the season.As to the box set: Subtitles are available, no annoying anti-piracy clips, nice extra features including several episode commentaries and the following featurettes: - Meet Martha Masters: Introducing Amber Tamblyn's Influential Yet Neurotic Character - Huddy Dissected: House and Cuddy, a Behind-the-Scenes Look at the New Couple - Anatomy of an Episode: Bombshells - Thirteen Returns: Olivia Wilde comes back as Dr Remy "Thirteen" Hadley

This season is focussing on the characters. The medical cases are in the second row.But this does not mean , that the cases are trivial. The quality remains.Now there is room for the roots of Hugh Laurie in House. Specially the British humor, which I like very much.It fits. The character of House is never gone. You get a deeper view into House.Finally in the story, Cuddy found out, that House has a deap weakness she did not want to tolerate.House seems to be beaten for the first time. He seems to be scared and reacting preatty helpless, trying to get control back.Really interesting to watch. The fallback to his Vicodine is believable, but it is not helping him.He regain the control back several times but the chair on which he stands is fragile.Finally when Cuddy turned away with a new guy, House gets violent. It will be a hard time waiting how the story continous.The team of House is in this season also really fun to watch. Nice interactions, funny moments and they seems to be not so depended to House this time.Last: If you are not following the series very closely, this season might be not very entertaining for you. You need the story of the first 6 seasons to understand.For all fans I can only recommend this.

House MD is an incredibly intelligent, funny and sensitive televison series.Hugh Laurie is fantastic as Dr Gregory House the irrevent doctor who is the head of the diagnostic department of the teaching hospital in the series.His unconventional approach to medicine and patients makes for interesting viewing and his continual torment of his junior doctors and disrespect for his long suffering Boss and now Girlfriend Dr Lisa Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein)is both cringeworthy and hilarious!You can see the similarities between House and Sherlock Holmes as watching the series (Drug Addict, Anti Social, A Sidekick, and the detective aspect to both characters).In Season Seven House and Cuddy are now an item, Thirteen is still absent and a new Dr is hired by House Dr Martha Masters played by Amber Tamblyn.A lot of the season's focus is around House and Cuddy's relationship with slighty less time on the medical cases. The best episodes of this season in my opinion are; 'Two Stories' and 'Bombshells'.

I have now watched all 8 seasons. Hugh Laurie is an amazing actor.

The Atheist and the American public, i felt that some one should come out and say how refreshing it is to have such a strong presentation of atheistic logic cleverly sneaked in buy the crazily loveable / obnoxious House. Is brave and intellectually refreshing. In a society that sees an Atheist much as a traitor or child molester to have House trash all religions and deities equally, and to see the hypocrisy of his other nominal Jewish, Christian and the rest - of his admittedly intelligent associates offer next to no defence not even the washy- washy defence of the Agnostic is remarkably clever writing, for the US mass-marketYou need to watch most of the 7 series to really see just how strong a component this is Well done

The Blu-Ray release of House is infamous.Don't buy them. It's either a packaging problem (disks moving around), or disks that won't play, sound problem, or some other problem. And it's just not the House Blu-Rays in one country. It's all over the world. I bought the six season of House on Blu-Ray years ago. The case had some new patent pending holding clamps for the disks. They did the job - impossible for the Blu-Rays to move around and get damaged. Unfortunately trying to unlock the clamps is another matter. I broke two of the disk holding clamps just trying to get the disks out. And then the first two disks wouldn't play. When I brought them back to the store the manager gave me a refund saying, "Too many complaints!" And then I find out that the Blu-Ray seasons of House manufacturered in Germany, America and Canada have similar problems.DON'T BUY THE COMPLETE SERIES IN BLU-RAY OR DVD. The disks are not secured properly and will move around and get damaged. And many of the disks are defective.If you want a hassle free watching experience with House by the separate seasons of House on DVD. The disks are secured properly in the cases and you won't get defective disks.I love HD too but if you buy House on Blu-Ray it is a dice roll. 480 DVD's upconverted to 1080p on a Blu-Ray player will look pretty darn good. And if you have one of those more expensive 4k monitors that upconvert everything to 4k it will look even better.

j'ai été très agréablement surpris par cette saison. J'avais été très déçu par la saison 6 et sans les quelques épisodes que j'ai vu avant d'acheter, je n'aurais probablement pas investi dans la saison 7. Bien mal m'en aurait pris car elle m'a semblé très bonne.[Spoilers !!!]La saison 7 est la continuité immédiate de la saison 6. Nous retrouvons donc House et Cuddy qui se décident (enfin) à fricoter. Leur histoire est le principal fil conducteur de la saison, un petit peu à la Palmade-Laroque, "Ils s'aiment" et "ils se sont aimés". En effet, on les vois dans un premier temps chercher à gérer leur relation et dans un second leur rupture. Le tout permet de donner des situations très croustillantes.De plus, j'ai ressenti un réel punch dans cette saison, les acteurs sont justes, les scénarii assez pertinents et les arcs scénaristiques rondement menés. Ainsi, l'intrigue autour de l'étudiante incorruptible est très agréable, House la torture psychologiquement pour la faire mentir et lui faire voir les nuances du monde qui n'est ni tout noir, ni tout blanc. J'en passe et des meilleures (l'épisode avec la mère de Cuddy qui vient poser de profondes questions d'éthique). Final assez intéressant qui, me concernant, aurait tout a fait ou être la fin de la série.C.

Dr. House und seine Gang lassen's wieder krachen :-)Es tut schon jedem Fan irgendwie weh, mitanzusehen, wie House seine Beziehung an die Wand fährt, weil er halt so ist, wie er ist.Die weitere Entwicklung mitzuverfolgen ist, wie ich finde, durchaus spannend.Ebenso gewohnt spannend wie unterhaltsam der Prozess der Diagnostik anhand der (ausgefallenen) Krankheitsbilder / Symptome.Personalwechsel im weiteren Verlauf sind auch nicht schlecht, umso mehr Charaktäre kommen in's Spiel.Einige Rezensenten sind der Meinung, die Serie wäre auf dem absteigenden Ast, das würde ich so nicht sehen.Mittlerweile ist ja bekannt, daß nach der achten Staffel Schluß ist, aber mit ein Grund dafür, ist wieder mal das liebe Geld. Es kann ja schlecht an mangelnden Ideen der Autoren liegen.Jetzt, wo der Preis der Staffel um € 25,-- liegt, habe ich auch zugeschlagen :-)Erfreulich war, daß ich auf Anhieb den allseits beliebten und stabilen Pappschuber erwischt habe: hier auch die gewohnte gute Qualität.Darin die ebenfalls vertrauten drei Doppelhüllen mit Covern nebst Infos zu den Episoden.Summasummarum: überhaupt kein Grund zu meckernBis hierhin gibt's von mir die volle Punktzahl!Dann kommt noch der Kultfaktor dazu - wieder volle Punktzahl.Ich würde diesen Artikel jederzeit wieder kaufen und werde auch die achte Staffel kaufen.Jedoch nicht zu dem hohen Preis, wenn der Artikel erscheint.Um € 25,-- jedoch ist durchaus angemessen.Fazit: Kaufen, wenn man Fan von Dr. House ist - Unterhaltung ist garantiert und hier stimmt auch das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis.

１枚のDVDに４話入っているのが、全部で６枚かな？１日に精々１〜２話、週に１日程度しか見る時間がないが、これは、実に的確な視聴方法だと思う。ーーー内容が、相変わらずとはいえ、ハウスの毒舌に振り回される。今度は、カディと付き合う。それで、破局？もう、見ちゃー居れないが、しゃーないわね。今のところ、これ以上の映画（アメリカ版の連ドラ）が無いんだから。ーーーこの種の、連ドラ以外に、見るもんが無いと言うのが，一番の問題だろうね。まだ，自分が全部見終わっていないうちから、レビューを書くのが間違っているのだろうが、これはこの調子で進む以外、納めようが無いね。まあ、次シーズンで終わるなら終わってくれ。私は、別のもっと酷い映画を探さなければならない運命にある。ーーー映画を見て暢気に構えている時期じゃないような気がする。安倍Ndに勝手やらせて、我々が暢気に過ごせる時代は終わった。そのような覚悟を強いるような映画だ。
