Good enough for bullet journaling!
I am using this as a bullet journal, so my review will mainly focus on that.Previously, I swore by Leuchtturm 1917 for use as bullet journals. While I still feel their journals are the top of the line for what I use them for, this is a VERY close second. The biggest thing to note: THERE IS NO INDEX AND THE PAGES ARE NOT NUMBERED. So if this is important to you, you will need to spend the time numbering your pages and leaving yourself enough room for an index. I personally don't rely on numbered pages because I can remember what is in my notebook and where, generally speaking, and use washi to mark specific pages that I may be referencing a lot. Other differences include: only one bookmark, slightly darker dots, and an included built-in pen loop! The cover, while it is hard-bound, has a softer faux leather feel and a slight squish on the outside that I really love. This may allow marks to show later on, but I keep mine pretty protected so it's no big deal to me.The page quality is honestly pretty good. I don't use alcohol markers, mainly just ballpoint or felt pens, and mildliners. Nothing really shows through unless I am laying on some HEAVY ink. Even then, no true bleed-through. Ghosting still happens, but I don't hate that. I have tested my noodler's bulletproof black ink in here, and haven't found it to bleed through either, but it does take way too long to dry (as most waterproof inks do). I do find that like in the leuchtturm the smoothness of the paper sometimes allows pens to smudge that otherwise shouldn't, even when dry, but generally it's not so bad. Some of the pages are sewn or glued a little off, so they don't fold over perfectly every time. I've been using this pretty consistently for a couple weeks and haven't had any problems with the binding.Overall I give this product 4.5 out of 5 stars (rounding down to 4). It's a really good journal that seems reliable. If I have any major issues (non-user error ones) come up, I'll update my review. There was a coupon out when I bought it that made it cheaper than a LT1917, so I took a chance on it and I'm glad I did.

Very nearly a moleskine!
Full disclosure: I received this journal for nearly free in exchange for my honest opinion about the product. All opinions and thoughts contained in this review are my own.TLDR;Nice, well constructed notebook that is a little on the pricey side for a moleskine knockoff. However, it's a very well executed knockoff, so if you want a hard cover and to save a dollar, go for it.The Pros:This is a wonderful, very well made bullet journal. It has a hard cover covered with leather or something that feels very close to leather and is buttery soft. It has a lovely pocket at the back to hold extra things as well. There is a handy dandy loop to hold a pen and a satin ribbon to help hold your place. The binding is well done and the journal lays flat when you open it. The pages are secured well and the whole unit seems very well made, a la moleskine. The paper is also very thick and my Sakura Micron pens did not bleed through, even when I coloured things in. See uploaded pictures for the lack of bleed through. The Cons:One thing that frustrated me a bit was that the dots on the grid did not line up between the 2 pages. Not sure if that's a normal thing in these journals, but it made it hard to do a 2 page calendar layout that lined up and didn't look silly.Second down side is the price. This is a dollar cheaper than the equivalent moleskine. Moleskine Classic Notebook, Large, Dotted, Black, Soft Cover (5 x 8.25) Now, I don't have that moleskine in hand yet to compare and I will update once I do, but I believe this notebook has more pages as the insides are thicker than my ruled moleskines.Overall this is a very nice notebook, if you aren't a moleskine snob like me, this is an excellent alternative for a dollar less. (With possibly more pages)

This product has a leather like cover with one pen holder and has far more ...
This product has a leather like cover with one pen holder and has far more pages than any other Journal I have used. It also includes a back pocket which is normal for most journals. I have the dot journal, and I did several tests with a black marking pen, and two sets of markers that I happen to have. The Sharpie brush set which is new, and the Tombow Twintone. I did both small strokes and medium strokes. The two strokes had minimal ghosting. With the heavy strokes I had some ghosting, but if I were to use thisas muy current bullet journal I normally don't write with very thick strokes. I would definitely enjoy this notebook more than a more expensive version because this book has thicker pages. I would also like to add that the price is about 5 to $6 cheaper.

Great value!
I am new to the bullet journal world and still have a lot to learn. This journal is high quality with all the features that I was looking for (and a few more I didn't know I needed).I love the dot pages. It provides endless opportunities to layout designs as shown in my photo. The paper is thick enough that my lines don't bleed through. So far loving this journal!Plan on making further purchases for me and my kids!Really good value for the money. Love the features on this journal such as elastic closure. The pen holder and book mark are nice additions. There is also a storage space in the back for sticker or papers you don't want to use.**I was reimbursed the cost of the product, but it is something I plan on purchasing again at full price**
