Pretty big, does not keep hair dry
I'm an Asian woman with a big head (wide and big) with a decent amount of hair (but thinning with age). I had been swimming with a lycra cap since my head is too big for a standard latex-type cap, but my hair was paying the price for all that chlorine. Someone said that silicone caps keep the hair dry, so I went looking for caps that would fit my head. I got the (1) Speedo for long hair, (2) Aegend, and (3) Zoma. NONE of they kept my hair dry. Water seeped in behind the space behind my ear. I put the Speedo on to avoid the ear, but water still seeped in. So after that fail, cap reviews: (1) Speedo for long hair is the smallest, but snuggest fit and no "weird" ear flaps. Seems like the flimsiest material. (2) Aegend is the biggest of the three and ear flaps completely covered my ears. I still had to wear my ear plugs since water seeps. Very sturdy silicone. (3) Zoma was in the middle, but ear flaps only partially fit over my ear so it's really annoying. Very sturdy silicone. Hope this is helpful in your hunt.

Like, so big that lots of hats won't fit ...
Let me start by saying, I have a really big head. Like, so big that lots of hats won't fit me. This swim cap goes on comfortably, and I love the cover over my ears, as I do get painful swimmer's ear without them. They don't keep all water out, but they do help. The first one I bought lasted around 6 months and then one day when I was pulling it on, it split and tore ... maybe my head is SO big that it put too much stress on the swim cap! In any event, I bought another, because it's really quite comfortable for a swim cap. I'll keep buying this brand each time I need a new one.

High quality swim cap, bonus nose plug & carrying case.
I have many long distance swimmers in my family, and I'm quite familiar with swim caps, as we've gone through quite a few, over the years. It's especially nice to have a good quality cap for lap swimming in the swimming pool. That pool water just ruins a person's hair! As much time as my family spends training, in the pool, having a good quality cap is essential. This swimming cap came in a nice carrying bag, and with a nose clip too. I'm very impressed with the design and how it covers your ears nicely. The quality of the cap seems superior to many that I've seen. Some of the other caps we've tried, over the years, rip easily, especially with thick hair. This cap is much better quality. The nose clip is easy to put on, my youngest daughter is thrilled the kit came with it, as she still likes to have her nose plugged for swimming, at this point.I would like to take a minute and talk about how to properly put on a swim cap. Yes, I know it would seem easy, and it is, but I've seen a lot of people make this same mistake and become frustrated, with using swim caps. I'll be going over the right way to put them on.First, I know it seems counterintuitive to do so, but don't try and put this on dry hair. Putting a cap over dry hair will not only hurt, not work well, but may also break your swim cap too. That being said, if you're a female with long hair, twist your hair or fasten it up, then wet it. Another great trick is to apply a light leave-in conditioner to your hair, after wetting, to further protect it. Now, you're ready to put it on! Stretch the swim cap as wide as possible, simply lower the cap onto your head, let the front of the cap catch your forehead and then pull the cap down over the rest of your head. But remember, YOU NEED WET HAIR BEFORE PUTTING ON YOUR SWIM CAP, I cannot stress that enough. I've seen so many people complain that they can't get them on, it hurts, the cap broke, all because of this improper swim cap technique.I hope this helps many people new to using swim caps get much more enjoyment and satisfaction, from this great quality swim cap. It only works well, if we use it properly. Although, I did receive this product for free in exchange for my unbiased review of it, this in no way affected my opinion of it. Like I said earlier, this family is no stranger to using swim caps, and in my opinion, this is a good, high quality cap.

Fits over my very long hair.
This is pretty awesome. I have extremely long hair so it’s hard for me to get all my hair in it without looking like a prehistoric life-form. However it stays on and is very snug. There is room in the top for long hair. However, if you have long hair, the cap may slip a bit. My hair reaches my derrière, so unless your hair is that long, you shouldn’t have any slippage of the cap.

Nice swim cap
Nice swim cap. Quality is good for its price. 4 star (not 5) because of the ear parts, which is actually not covering your ears during swimming. I bought this exact cap (not the others) because it has ear closing parts, but which is not useful. When you wear it at first, it's closing, as soon as you start to swim-useless. But the cap itself is protecting good. When you finish swimming, hair are really dry. So the quality is good, thanks.

Nice idea but . . .
I purchased this cap for a trip to Houston for my great grandson's first birthday. I ended up not using this cap because I couldn't get the dang thing on! I followed the directions, checked out some you tube videos . . . NOTHING was going to get that cap on my head. It was so tight that I was afraid I'd tear it. I'd read the reviews of this cap and most were positive, which is why I ordered it. Unfortunately for me, this was not a good purchase. I didn't save the receipt because, it's a swimming cap! LOL! Lesson learned. If I buy a paper clip, I'm keeping the receipt until I've clipped some papers together. Oh well, live and learn.

Poor Quality
I used it for my once a week half hour swimming class. A piece the size of thumb tore off from the back when I tried to put it on for my 4th class. Among so many available brands this is not the cheapest so I expected it to last longer than 3 uses. Very disappointed.

Good for long hair.
I got this for use while snorkeling. I am white female and have long hair (mid back). The snorkel mask head strap would always get all tangled up in my hair and I would have a hard time not only putting it on properly but also taking it off. I bought this because it seemed like it would go over my hair just fine and still cover my ears. I was pleasantly surprised. I was worried about it tearing but it is very well made. It more than adequately covered my hair and was comfortable to have on. It kept my hair dry and made using the snorkel mask so much easier. I would definitely buy this again.

Not big enough to cover ears - gradually slid upwards while swimming - not fit for purpose.
I bought this cap as I wanted a hat that would cover my ears and hair while swimming. When it arrived, I was pleased - the quality looked good - it is thicker latex than the usual type of swim caps - and it had flaps to go over the ears. It seemed perfect. Initially, I was happy. It was easy to put on and fitted over my ears. However, within minutes of starting to swim, the ear flaps had pinged up, and continued to do so in spite of being pulled down repeatedly. I gave up on trying to keep my ears dry and just hoped the cap would at least protect my hair. However, the cap continued to work its way off my head as I swam, and I ended up looking rather like a conehead, with quite a lot of my hair getting wet. I bought the largest size and expected it to fit well based on the measurements given. I won't be using it again and am going to buy a normal 'speedo' style swimcap instead. It did protect some of my hair, for some of the time, hence the two stars, but in general, I do not think this was worth the cost.

Anything that makes you more comfortable as you excercise, can only be a good thing...
I never knew long hair swimming caps existed until I went back to swimming and spotted this cap – it was bought purely on the good reviews. Well, I was so pleased with it's performance, I want to buy another one in another colour. My head measurement is 21 and three quarter inches in diameter, and the cap fits perfectly... not too tight and not too loose. I'm definitely feeling more streamlined, as it doesn’t wrinkle or ride up, so swimming is faster. It meets and exceeds comfort levels with the rubber a little thicker than other old style caps, your head feels a bit warmer against the cold water, and if you’re wearing it down over your ears, it’s also a much quieter swim. The moulded ear sections make the cap much more comfortable… no more pressure of tight rubber across your ears, more of a snug fit. If you want to keep your hair dry I’d recommend you don’t wear your hair in a pony tail. Twist your hair up instead into the cap and there’s a little leaflet with a photograph showing you an easier way of putting it on, which is great for me recovering from a broken arm. If you want to pull the cap up over your ears to expose them, it still stays in place and is still comfortable. There’s also a free nose clip which I haven’t used yet, so will give this a go and is a nice little extra. I’d never go back to the old fashioned swimming caps now… Zoma’s design and innovation have moved things on, and a more comfortable swim is a happier, more productive workout for all waterbabies! :@)

so disappointed as I had to cancel my swimming class too
I have received the product on Sunday and I have used it today for the first and last time as while I was attempting to wear it, it broke !Not suitable for medium/long hair, so disappointed as I had to cancel my swimming class too !I will not recommend it to anyone, the material is very cheap, a better quality can be found in the market for a much better price .I’m afraid Not a great brand Zoma.

Does not stay put!
When I first put it on, it wasn't too tight and felt comfortable and it keeps everything quiet. After a couple lengths, the part that comes over my ears kept folding up, allowing the water to get in. It was not too big a deal so I kept using it. After using it daily for about a week, I noticed the cap kept sliding back and I had to keep pulling it back down every 200m or so. I'll be looking to get another one somewhere else as this has just become a hinderance during swimming.

Keeps my long hair quite dry
Plenty of room for my long, thick and wavy hair- keeps it dry except for a tiny bit at my hairline (which is probably a bit lower than some people's.) I tuck my hair in around the cap evenly, without using a ponytail, as instructed by the little card enclosed with the swim cap. This makes a good difference. The cap also covers my ears and keeps the water bubbles out when I'm laying back in the jacuzzi :-) I go to the pool several times a week for hydrotherapy, and I'm very happy with the performance of the cap for this. I don't put my head underwater very often so I can't report on what it would be like for that proper swimming. The vibrant colour of the swim cap is gorgeous! I'm very pleased with it.
