Does a good job with the provided pen, but not so much with others
The Infinite Book looks like a simple, standard notebook. However, the pages are glossy and laminated like whiteboards, as opposed to regular paper pages. It is one of those simple ideas that makes you think ‘Why has this not been around for years?’, combining a notebook with a whiteboard sounds great. And it is.Using the notebook is easy, it is difficult to smudge the writing with a palm or with two pages rubbing against each other when the book is closed, yet very easy to rub away writing with the ‘eraser’ on the top of the pen. Writing at first was quite wobbly for me (I have the classic line slant problem when using plain paper’, but I got used to the plain surface pretty quickly. There is a lined Infinite Book available, but an ideal version would be a ‘lined on one side, plain on the other’ notebook. Sadly, this doesn’t yet exist. The notebook is of decent quality, with matte style covers and a sturdy ring binding that doesn’t look like it will bend or deform. I was worried the edges of the pages would fray and the whiteboard surface might ‘peel off’, but so far it has been perfect. This product looks like something that will last for quite a while, though notebooks do tend to get lost quite often! It’s decent for note taking but is much better for diagrams and doodles. Writing doesn’t feel as natural as with paper (obviously), but drawing charts, graphs, doodles and drawings is great. The problem is the pen provided does not last very long at all, and the replacement options don’t quite feel the same to use. The pen given is (according to the label on the pen itself) a Staedtler Lumocolor Correctable, in size Fine. It has black ink and has an eraser attached to the back.I have bought Staedtler Lumocolor pens to replace this one, in both F (0.7mm) and M (1.0mm) sizes. They did not have an eraser on the back, but were dry-wipe markers that could be wiped away with the eraser on the provided pen.The replacement pens lasted so much longer than the provided one (with about the same amount of use) – they lasted around 2 months each whilst the pen included with the notebook barely lasted a month. However, the replacements smudged more often and took longer to dry when writing, whilst at the same time being more difficult and ‘smudgy’ when being erased.I got the replacement pens in multiple colours and can say that the black colour seemed the least likely to leave marks after being wiped away. For me, it was the red and green pens that were particularly bad. Saying that, all colours can definitely be used, some just take a bit more effort to remove fully. This isn’t a review for the replacement pens, but as they are the recommended markers to go for, and as the provided marker really doesn’t last long at all, it seems important to mention that the use of this notebook changes massively depending on the marker used.Overall, the notebook does exactly what it says on the tin, and does it reasonably well. However, there are some issues with replacement pens. It seems getting the wrong kind can make using the notebook significantly worse. Ultimately, the notebook is just too expensive for what it actually is. I bought it more for the novelty factor, but in terms of practicality, I would only recommend this if it were selling for around £5 for the A5 size (maybe a little more for the A4 size).

Amazing book, horrible pen
This notebook changed my life. I always had a “normal” notebook to take random notes and draw some doodles. But this made my life more organised. Instead of wasting pages tidying up my notes, I just transpose them to a new page and clean the “untidy” ones. TODO lists can be written, scratched as items are done, then the page gets clean up. Just brilliant. The best part is how this brand is cheaper than others. I don’t need to publish my notes in the “cloud”, so I don’t miss that feature - a simple picture is enough to me.My only complaint is the pen. I think it cannot handle the cold weather in Dublin. The tip dries out almost daily, and I always need a wet tissue to remove the crust from the tip. Maybe it will get better after the winter, but it is a pain to have a pen that works depending on the season.

Thick paper and limited pens
This notebook is exactly what it says it is - a whiteboard book. It has very thick pages and you can only really write on it with a whiteboard pen. The pages are much thicker than the pages on the Esquoia notes books I have, but then it is cheaper. I was hoping to use this as a notebook but it wont work for that. I will use it to replace post it notes, so its not a wasted purchase. For notetaking rocketbook and Esquoia is a better choice. For a scribble pad or for small mindmaps this is a cheap alternative.

Excellent book which has replaced all of my notepads.
This book is excellent and had enabled me to stop using all of the notepads which I had to constantly use. The item allows me to take notes with no issues or even draw pictures when I am bored. I have found this item excellent for studying as I can save my notes in on location with minimum work required by myself.Excellent idea. My only gripe (yes, yes there has to be at least one) the cover could have been a hardback as I have paid a high amount for a great notepad. Its just a shame the actual cover is not that sturdy.

Affordable and handy
This reusable book makes my meetings much easier as I don't have to scribble and throw off notes that are no longer required. The notes that are required in the future can be capture with a phone camera. It reduces paper wastage to a large extent. I don't like the pen that came with it and it takes ages to rub off older notes. Staedtler non permanent fine pens work great with this book and easy to rub off even with a tissue paper.

The pages are a little flimsier than I'd like, when I wrote on them with the pen provided the nib left an impression which I wasn't expecting. I'm keeping it because I'm trying to reduce my paper use but the description led me to believe the pages would be plastic, not laminated sturdy paper. I think it's a little overpriced for the quality but also a decent enough idea for me to support with my purchase.

Brilliant paper saver
Brilliant book, only improvements would be for some tabs on the pages so that you can open it on the correct page a bit easier, and maybe a means of securing the specialist pen that's required onto the book so that it's always to hand. Fantastic paper saver - no more lists and scraps around the house.

Love it. Write as much as you want then damp cloth to clean the page so not more running out of scribble pad paper halfway through a study session. Ink takes a couple of seconds to dry and seems relatively permanent until wiped. I've written out equations that i didn't understand and left them in the book for a couple of weeks until getting a chance to show to a tutor. Writing will probably fade after a while but think of it a s scribble pad and it works really well
