Q: Is this lamp suitable for painting on canvasses

I've used it for all my craft work glass, photography, sewing & artwork where I have needed to keep colours true to day time. The light has been great.

Q: Where can I buy replacement bulb

The instruction leaflet says it takes a 13w PL-type full spectrum bulb. Probably get one on Amazon or google it. The manufacturer tel no is 01844 258080 website www.groves-banks.comHope this helps

I’m afraid I can’t help as my lights cord is built in. I hope you find one.

Q: what wattage is the bulb?

It's 13 watt. Acts like a typical energy saving bulb, bit dim to start with but giving good light once warmed up. If working in 'old money' I would say it's somewhere near power of an old 60 watt bulb. Hope this helps.
