These were effective in preventing a local woodpecker from establishing a new favorite spot in my carport and pecking on my house. Placed on his landing spot and the pecking zone. He never came back.

I've tried several other deterrents and so far this is the only one that's worked.

Seems to keep the birds and squirrels away.

Cats still walk on it . It just bends down.

works well to discourage landing or nesting. haven't had a long term review yet. will see when nesting season starts in spring.

It works about 90% of the time, I still have some little birds getting in, and that is with three of these things surrounding a door light. nature is hard to fight.

Thought it would come with an adhesive and it did not. Also I haven’t been able to figure out how to lock the individual pieces together.
