Easy to install
Works just like described. Fits the c920 perfectly and is easy to install.it seems a bit expensive, but I couldn't nfind it cheaper anywhere else.

Easy to install, works well
This thing is really custom fit and installation is literally a snap. Great product.

Simple, Effective and Over-Priced
Worked much better than the stick-on version I bought before this. Good fit and hold, but very expensive for what is probably a $0.50 piece of plastic.

Does What It Needs to Do!
Not much to say about this device. I have a Logitech C920 video cam. This device snapped on the cam within seconds. The build quality seems very good. The "flap" opens easily, but there is enough friction to prevent it from closing on its own, but I do not think that will be an issue under normal operation, as the flap folds backwards about 45 degrees. May require two hands to close due to the friction, as when I tried with one hand, the camera wanted to slide off the top of my monitor (no biggie).Like others, I question the cost of this unit. But I bit the bullet, as it seems like a better build than some of the other alternatives. I like the quality, and will probably use it until the cam itself dies or is no longer supported.

Works but so does tape
It works but it's really overpriced for such a tiny piece of plastic.

Expensive sticky note replacement but works great
I hate to give five stars to a 10c piece of plastic which cost me $9, but this webcam shutter is really well executed. It's the only one I could find large enough to work with my Logitech C920, and having just finished a big office cleanup/organization project the yellow sticky note covering my webcam was the last sloppy thing left. The shutter snapped right onto the webcam (no adhesive, it's a friction fit, so I would only consider this if you have one of the webcams they list in the description), and the door hinge is smooth enough to allow opening without jostling the camera too much. The texture/color is a close match to the camera, but it does chop off the printing on the front so it's not a 100% seamless appearance. If I had a suggestion, it would be nice for them to include a little piece of two-sided tape to secure the camera to the top of the monitor.

Fits my Logitech webcam perfectly!
I thought that I would be taking a chance buying a flip away door design over a slide away door one. However this little door stays up until I close it.

Does what it needs to do and more classy than a sticky note
Jabber likes to default-on the camera when making a call. I did not know that. Or, rather, it used to NOT do that, probably because I didn't have a USB webcam attached and the built-in wasn't used since I'm operating in Clamshell Mode. With the proliferation of Zoom, I brought out my trusted c920. Made a call to my company's HR and realized my video was streaming. Except I was in the middle of changing my shirt so all my pleasant goodness is slowly broadcasting to HR. Luckily, I noticed it BEFORE they picked up. I think. Enter this webcam cover. Honestly, a mechanical shutter should be standard for all webcams. But now I can launch Jabber calls without worrying if my not-so-furry chest is being broadcasted to HR.5-stars.
