Easy to Use
These work wonderfully, our sons puppy learned right away that ringing the bell earns her a super fast response to getting outside! Some dogs will make a racket, others will just barely move the bells... to be honest, I don't know who's trained better... me at listening for them, or her for ringing them, lol.Highly recommend for any dog.The only caveat for us was that we didn't want them to ring everytime ANYONE opened the door, just when she wanted to go out, so we used a 3M Clear hook to hang them BESIDE the door instead. Now she doesn't wake up and come running wanting to play outdoors, she only uses it for business, so to speak.

Dog Bells Pack of 2 Potty Bells Dog Doorbells for Dog Training
My dog didn't know what to do with the bells for about a week, but after being consistent myself to ring the bell, then open the door, she figured out if she wanted to go outside, to ring the bell. No more wet messes waiting for me by the door. Unless I don't hear her ringing the bell of course. But now every time she touches the bell, I open the door and nudge her outside even if she doesn't want to go. So that way she knows if she rings the bell, outside she goes. I'm glad I purchased this. She rings it quite often, but I'd rather she do that, than leave me a wet mess to clean up. Thankfully she comes back inside pretty quickly after her perimeter checks.

Helps us potty train our puppy
This came with 2 bell straps. We only need one and hung on our back door. Our 8 week old pup quickly learned to tap it with his paw or nose when he needed to go out and do his business. This worked greta for the most part. But then he started boxing it for fun and not because he wanted to go outside. We now have a doggie door so he just uses that to go outside for his business - or just to play. But the bell was good initially, as we wanted to always supervise him outside (and ensure he wasn't snatched up by a bird of prey!) We also needed to supervise his number 1's and number 2's to track how he was doing... so the bell was useful as we always knew when he had to go out. He didn't have too many accidents inside... but we are also very attentive especially if he starts sniffing around, we know he needs to go. Anyway, we don't use it anymore, but it still worked well. We may take it with us in our RV so he can let us know when he needs to go outside as that does not have a doggy door.

Dog loves communicating with us using the bells
Bought these for a new pup, and she “got it” in just a few minutes. She uses her bells to let us know she wants to go out. She rings them quietly at first and then gets a little louder with each ring. They are a nice sound, not loud or annoying, and they get the job done. She’s a border collie-Labrador retriever and it works well for her. I think any size dog could ring these. I recommend them. It’s much nicer than the dog barking at the door to go out!

Great bargain with BONUS clip on watering bowl!
You get 2 sets of bells AND a watering bowl for $2 more than their competitor sells 1 set of bells (which I had initially purchased). Since my dog lives both at home and at office I needed more bells, and am delighted I found these. They arrived promptly, and the collapsible watering bowl clips on your belt loop. Wonderful bargain, promptly delivered!

Great way to potty train
These bells work great. We have trained several dogs using these bells. It is very easy to teach your dog on how to use them. The dogs also can let us know when they want to go out in general. I have to say they got used a lot during snow storms.

Perfect.
Our dog is already trained to a doorbell at our home. When we decided to go on vacation we wondered how he would signal without the doorbells we have mounted on our doorframe. We bought these and put them on our door about a week before vacation. He figured it out in no time and started ringing the doorbell AND these bells to go out. These are durable, loud and transport easily.

Useful
We used this for potty training and my older dog got the hang of it pretty quickly. We used his trick "up" and then used it as "bell" and he caught on. Our puppy on the other hand is still learning! The bells are sturdy, and good in length. Love that it comes with 2 because I have one in my room and one on the backyard door.
