Cheap!
Very cheaply made product. The straps that are used to hold them down to are metal but the buckles are plastic. I went to give a little pull on the loose ends of the strap and literally broke the plastic piece. That was a total bummer because I needed it to get my canoe up north. Luckily I had some rope and that worked much better. The pieces of foam that sits on the top and holds the canoe were OK but they could be much nicer. I wouldn't recommend anyone getting this. I got it on a whim and was hesitant due to there not being any reviews but now you have something to go off of. Get the more expensive one so you can have it for a couple of years and not one weekend.
