Regal Connection Heavy-Duty Trailer Guide Pads

I have a trailer that only had PVC pipes on it, the boat would hit them and wouldn't roll very well. I have owned boats and have over 15 years experience with boat and trailer products. I was looking for a heavy duty pads with a thick material that would hold up to the bumps of a 4000+ wakeboard boat. Products that have a name that has been screened on will eventually fade, tear, or peel off. So being plain works better. The canvas material seems that it will take several years of punishment. Very happy with this purchase, I never write amazon reviews so this really must have impressed me. I keep my boat in my garage and I have only had them for one day so I can't say how they will be in the long run, but the quality is there. I am also not sure about the UV protection, but since mine is in the garage it should be fine.

They work, look good,and are affordable. Not much else you can ask for. I'll be glad to come back and give 5 stars if they hold up in the sun for a couple of summers. They stand a good chance because my boat is stored inside.

Just like the title says, without them my graphics got scraped and scratched in the 1st several launches. The color of my boat is black and the white PVC poles kept leaving "trails" on the black that I had to scrape/wash off every-time I went out. I was about to completely remove the guides from the trailer when I saw a boat going down the highway with some of these and decided to give them a try. They would have saved me the $500+ I will be spending to have the graphics redone...

Have been very pleased with the functionality of this product. They looked very nice when I first got them, but unfortunately faded fairly quickly and substantially from black to gray in the hot Texas sun. I'm not too worried about looks, however, and am pleased with them overall.

I purchased this item to replace the factory trailer guides on a 2007 Boatmate trailer. They fit perfectly and look nice. After several seasons, they have held up well. They are black with no lettering and they look nice. The fading has been mostly minimal...nothing worse than expected. I recommend this product to replace worn-out factory trailer guides.

I bought these to replace the pads that came with my boat from the dealer originally. After 5 years my old ones were all beat up with holes and gashes through the canvas. I notice that these are a much heavier cover on the pads. I expect them to last longer than the originals.

Description is not clear for this product. These are NOT OPEN ON BOTH ENDS.Elastic band and open on the bottom; sewn up canvas cap on the top.

This review has nothing to do with the quality of the product only the description. The description says nothing about one end being capped. In fact it says "Sewn-in bands on both ends provide a snug fit". Also one of the answered questions say both ends are open. I ordered a pair of these and they were capped on one end. If you want them capped they seem like a nice pair but I need two open ends.
