A good compromise to full mudguards.
This has just arrived and I so far impressed. It'sv thicker than I thought it might be so better than expected. I agree with others that fitting the front mud may be tricky.. Luckily I had already known about the form attachment so not an issue for me.. plus I mainly wanted it for the rear guard. It's a better option than ass savers as these retractable cover a longer profile than they do, plus I never have them on me when I want them, nor do I know where the hell they are when I do know it is going to rain. Of course the compromise is that it is always on the bike, but it is a small compromise, literally. So initially, I like it. I know it won't be a good as a full fixed mudguard, but then we know that don't we....

The product was quick to install.
I liked the retractable design and it looked good on my bike.It was easy to adjust so I could install my rear light on my seat post as well.I liked the option to install the rear mudguard on the frame instead to make more space on the seat post.I didn't like the front mudguard as the instructions were not very clear. when I did manage to get it to fit I decided I didn't like it. To be fair I only really wanted a rear mudguard anyway so its not a deal breaker, & I have the front if I ever decide I need it.I would only recommend this for the daily commute & not serious off road biking as it doesn't seem the most sturdy design, but I am yet to try this.

Front Guard Ambiguity
Youre getting what you buy. Needs clearer instructions on mounting front guard. Had to DIY with a wrench to bend the metal in shape for my bike. Wasnt too happy about that

Back guard ok, couldn’t attach front one
The back mud guard was easy to fit and works ok - if the rain is really heavy I still get mud/water up my back as the guard isn’t too wide. But it’s fine for normal days when there isn’t too much rain. The front guard - I couldn’t even get onto the bike because it doesn’t come with any instructions and it’s not very obvious how to affix it.

Unusual looking, well built
Fiendish to install as no instuctions, just a bag of bits and screws, though i managed to find an install guide on a different product which was very similar so managed it in the end. They look great, and the retracting feature is nice, though in practice if you are riding hard the vibration makes them retract on their own, so had to tape them down underneath the spine to stop this. When i'd done that I had a very pleasing product.

Good quality puzzle
Couldn't agree more with some of these reviews. Quality is good and seems sturdy once fixed into place. Well the rear guard is as I figured that out. Luckily I didn't really need a front one as the instructions are non existent, no wait they exist but in Chinese. If there were legible instructions I would have doubled the stars as I kind of expect instructions to explain easily how to attach something. It's the covenant of purchase is it not!!?

Don’t bother
I genuinely got more mud on me after I installed these mud guards. Cleaned them and reinstalled just to make sure and they came apart.
