This is an awesome tool for the price
Not sure how i've got this long without one of these. This is an awesome tool for the price. doing a bunch of work on a snowmobile and this saves me from having to do them by hand which is very painful after doing steel rivets for awhile.if it breaks, for the price i'll get another one.

Good tool for the money
This is a great rivet gun if you only do moderate riveting. I would not suggest this gun for commercial applications, but for a prototype build application, this works wonderfully.

Needs multiple translated instructions
It would be great if the instructions weren't in German. We have yet to figure out how to assemble the product. Will be getting out the translator to rewrite the instructions!

you'd better use yours right away
I waited a month to use the item. I used it for four days building 6 aluminum awnings for my house. By the end, the little rubber plunger located right after the air inlet broke into pieces. I used plenty of air tool oil in there so lack of lubricity wasn't the cause for its destruction. Upon inspection of the plunger piece, it sort of looked like that particular rubber piece wasn't molded properly, so it might have been a one-off issue that might not affect you.Yes, it's heavy. So drink extra coffee or something. The seller responded and is an honorable supplier in my experience.I dunno how to upload images so you can see, but just be warned. You might consider disconnecting air pressure from the device when you go to bed. Perhaps there are particularly inert air tool oil formulations which are appropriate for this tool?Good luck everyone.edit 2017:this thing is powerful. I upgraded the review from 3 stars to 4 stars.Just so you know, the seller sent me a replacement unit when I told them about the broken rubber stopper(I would have been happy with a stopper, but they didn't have any so they sent me a whole other unit)The new one hasn't failed yet. I built one more aluminum awning and built a fence. there is no air leakage yet from the unit, but I didn't leave it hooked up overnight like last time.I have some 3/16" stainless rivets that I used to attach my steel b-decking fence to the steel posts. it requires just under 2 tons of pulling force to set these rivets. 6 rivets per fence post, 25 fence posts. still works. Those are tough rivets to pull, but the unit has so far held up. I'm impressed and very pleased that the cheap tool was able to accomplish this task. saved me a lot of money.

Rugged Rivet Gun
This is a pretty great kit that comes with lots of size variations and other adapters for pop rivets. The tool itself feels rugged and well made. I haven't yet had any problems with it. My only complaint is that once you install an air fitting on it, it will no longer fit back in the handy case without modification. I ended up making a hole in the case to accommodate for this oversight.
