Must read any man, but especially those that are struggling
Craig does a great job of the pointing out where men slip up and cuts through the excuses. He focuses on repentance (positive movement) instead of remorse.

A guide for real men who want to take control of their lives they way we're designed.
This was my first exposure to Craig Groeschel who started the largest church in the United States of America. Who knew?! Craig is a man who takes responsibility for his faults, but recognizes that men are designed to be very different from women; both women and men should understand that. Men need to accept who they are and not bend to the whim of the world around them. We're warriors at heart right down to our DNA. And there's a reason for it. Jesus Christ was the greatest warrior to ever walk this earth.A must read for real men.

four stars.
I downloaded the Kindle edition and it took me about three hours to read the entire book.I've written on this topic for a while now. Many of the guys I blog with have written on this topic. I can't say there's anything new or overly exciting here regarding the theology or goal of the book. It's presented in an easy-to-read way which makes it very accessible, and the fact that Craig writes this without the chip on his shoulder many men advocating the warrior spirit have does set him apart. I can also appreciate that this isn't a book full of Bible verses strung together to make a book about "being a man". At the end of the day, however, I didn't find this to be earth-shattering of life-changing. I believe that this should be the norm for men's ministry.I give it four stars based on accessibility, lack of attitude or anger, and a solid intro to Samson. I knock off a star for length and lack of depth. This could have been longer or more in-depth than it was. This is really a book meant to be attached to a study group, small group, or men's ministry program as a jumping off point for discussion as opposed to a stand-alone book to tell you how to fight like a man.

Straight forward message!
When I bought Fight, I knew it was a book written for men, but I purchased and read it anyway! Don’t pass this book up if you’re a man, but I would have to say the same for women! Keeping with the male focus, the book does identify specific struggles men encounter. Lust, entitlement and pride; Craig uses these encounters to empower, warn, and encourage men to fight for their faith and their families. Fight uses the story of Samson from the bible as a roadmap to guide us through our own strengths and weaknesses.I found myself identifying with some of the weaknesses of Samson. Predominantly the idea that once I have my mind made up, there is no going back. Why do we do this to ourselves? We don’t just all of a sudden sin. It is done in very small steps. Over time these steps will eventually end up at the desired location that the devil leads us to, unless we can identify where it leads and have the courage to stand up and Fight our own evil nature and turn around. Even when we do fall short, as with Samson, we find our way back to God and then how far his mercy and grace can transform us.I would purchase this book as a gift for young men that are going off to college or even men that are getting married. Great gift, great read.

I actually enjoyed this book.
I was surprised that I enjoyed this book. It's written for men (not the content ladies, it's for you too), in that it's short bits that allows us some thinking time and napping time before the next section. It was applicable to the men I mentor and disciple (and me!) and the issues we all face and more importantly applied the scriptures of the story of Samson for real life use. I enjoyed the short format and the too the point writing.More on why I was surprised. When the book was given to me (by our mens group at church). It had two strikes against it; #1 The Title - which goes against the teaching of persevering and standing firm. Strike #2 - the author - popular new style writer. I know that sounds bad but I have been left wanting many times by some of the fluff that comes out by the most popular selling authors. Why waste your time digging for a couple of nuggets in fluff when you can have the whole treasure in the Word. I would rather see people reading the Life Application or Life Recovery Bibles in community than throwing dollars at hope books that provide a temporary high.I recommend this book in a small group study, even if that small group is you brother, with your wife.

Not much depth, very cliche
This book really depends on where you’re at in your faith. If you’re a new believer you’ll get a lot out of this. If you’re a long time believer with a mature faith, this book will bore you. Not much depth. Lots of cliches. Doesn’t dig in to scripture much.

Good read
Before you read this you need to understand Craig Groeschel. He wrote this book with the same down to earth, straight to the point, and sometimes using cheesy jokes as he does in his sermons.I would move on if you are the stuck up Pharisees type church member that refuses to bend to contemporary styles of preaching and believes a man must be perfect to be called to lead a congregation. This book (IMO) deals with allot of the problems in today's society. It is not a "sexist" or "chauvinist" book by any means. It is just a book written for men by a man of God. It is a man's job to be the spiritual leader of his house. To keep it short. He follows biblical teachings and holds nothing back as he does in his sermons. This book is down to earth and written plainly for everyone. I would buy CS Lewis if you are looking for that type of writing.I am giving it 5 stars because I believe Pastor Craig is sincere in his calling and is truly doing God's will with his church.

The entire book, read by the author, on 5 CDS
This is the entire book 'Fight' read by Craig (the actual author) on a 5 CD set.I've really enjoyed listening to the book whilst driving the last couple of weeks. Fight is a book, written especially for men, reflecting on the stories of Samson in the Bible.I was surprised how much I had missed about his story, and I've learnt a great deal from this book. Covers 'doing what is good in your own eyes', gambling debts, anger, and even the logo to a famous syrup. If you don't fight for what is right, you will end up fighting against all sorts of things that are wrong.

A Book Every Man Needs To Read...!!
"Though Satan makes strong men weak, God is in the business of making weak men strong." - It time for men to learn how to fight for their families, their churches, their communities and their God. This book tells you how to be a godly warrior using the story of Samson. You will find new strength to fight for your faith. One of the best books I have read in a long time.

Great treat and encouragement
Wonderful story of Samson that Craig takes into a journey for each men to take. I Personally really needed that to be inspired and fight back. Craig's style makes it great read but his insights even more impact on the God's truth about men being the ultimate warriors for His causes.
