CampingCard 2018 GPS 20 countries - set of two books

Unfortunately this Acsi pack has a vital part missing! The little map book that shows you where all the campsites are, is not included? I buy it every year (though not from yourselves) and it’s practically useless without it! Unfortunately I’ve just opened it having set off on our European trip, so I can’t return it!! Not happy at all!

Got this for a ten day trip to France. We used 3 times, but I know that at least 2 of the sites were the same price when just going to their website. The sites we used did accept it as ID which was handy (no leaving passports). The books are pointless IMHO. We got the app despite being annoyed that this is sold at extra cost and is not even the full ACSI list of sites just the card accepting ones. There’s another different app to buy for the others. Some of the other info. from the ACSI inspectors is possibly useful. Some of the customer reviews are helpful, but we also stayed at one site we thought was horrible and had been reviewed well - tastes differ.This review is possibly negatively influenced by my dislike for their pricing model and because 2 site reviews I submitted have not been shown and I can’t get an answer from ACSI. I’d recommend checking a few sites you want to use on their website first and check pricing against the campsites own site to see if it will be worthwhile for you.

From an eco point of view it's a pity we can't just buy the card instead of having to have the books too - such a waste of paper, not much changes in a year in the world of campsites!

Received the ACSI camping books and card in good time and perfect condition BUT attempts to purchase and activate the accompanying App have failed , it seems the associated website cannot complete the transaction. Have contacted ACSI via their Camping Card website but have had no reply other than the standard acknowledgement of receipt of our email. We are disappointed as were intending to use the App in Europe to locate campsites and facilitate booking.

I was disappointed with this item, bought for caravanning friends. I assumed that ordered in December, it would be good for the coming year. Silly me! It is what it says - last year's publication, so the discount card doesn't work. Annoying; as it was a present, I had to buy the 2019 books from ACSI, who have been fulfilling orders with the 2019 books and discount card since December. Kept the present for myself, an educational reminder.

Very comprehensive books and camping card. You can’t purchase the card separately, so need to keep purchasing the set of books each year to get the current card for that year.

Gives off peak discount to lots of campsites throughout Europe (although main focus is France), at £13 a bargain compared to other outlets

Didn’t receive the second book which is supposed to contain the discount card so have had to return. We got a map, part one and a large piece of card. Disappointed.
